Jan M.B. Cremers (May 3, 1952 Limbricht) is a Dutch sociologist and former politician [1] of the Labour Party (PvdA) who served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2008 until 2009.
He studied organisational and development sociology at the University of Tilburg, and worked as a teacher and civil servant at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. He was also a member of the board of the European Trade Union Confederation and director of the National Training Fund for Works Councils (GBIO). From spring 2007 until the end of 2018, he worked as a senior researcher at the Amsterdam Institute for Labour Studies at the University of Amsterdam. In parliament, Cremers served on the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs. Currently, he is associated to the Tilburg Law School of Tilburg University (since May 2015), where he established a database on labour migration, among other things. He conducts research in the field of free movement of workers, mobility in the European labour market and the freedom to provide services and publishes regularly on European social policy, labour migration and labour standards. Since 2009, he has been a member of the Bundeskuratorium (Der Internationale Bund - IB). [4] In November 2013, he received an honorary doctorate from the University of Westminster for his publications on European social policy. [5] He was involved in the creation of the European Labour Authority and he is now a member of the Management Board of this institution (for the term of office 2019-2023). He is also a board member at the Dutch Expertise Centre for Labour Migrants (established in October 2020). [6]
The second Kok cabinet, also called the second Purple cabinet was the executive branch of the Dutch government from 3 August 1998 until 22 July 2002. The cabinet was a continuation of the previous first Kok cabinet and was formed by the social-democratic Labour Party (PvdA), the conservative-liberal People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD) and the social-liberal Democrats 66 after the election of 1998. The cabinet was a centrist grand coalition and had a substantial majority in the House of Representatives with Labour Leader Wim Kok serving as Prime Minister. Prominent Liberal politician Annemarie Jorritsma the Minister of Transport and Water Management in the previous cabinet served as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Affairs, former Progressive-Liberal Leader Els Borst continued as Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport and served as Deputy Prime Minister.

She has a background in politics, public administration and business. During her time in parliament, she served as vice president on Economic and Financial Affairs of the European People's Party (EPP) Group. She has an MA in Political Science and Economics from VU University Amsterdam.
Emine Bozkurt is a Dutch politician of Turkish descent and Member of the European Parliament between 2004 and 2014. She is a member of the Dutch Labour Party, which is part of the Party of European Socialists.

He is currently a professor at Leiden University and a special envoy of the World Bank. He is also a member of the board of trustees of the International Crisis Group and a commissioner of the International Commission on Missing Persons.
Mei Li Vos is a Dutch politician, former trade unionist and editorialist. A member of the Labour Party (PvdA), she was a member of the House of Representatives from 1 March 2007 to 17 June 2010 and again from 20 September 2012 until 23 March 2017. She has been a member of the Senate since 11 June 2019.
Arij Lans Bovenberg is a Dutch economist, and Professor of Economics at the Tilburg University and Erasmus University, known mainly due to his contribution to the Dutch debate on population ageing, pension reforms and public finances. Lans Bovenberg was awarded the Spinoza Prize in 2003.
Johanna Catharina Maria "Jolande" Sap is a former Dutch politician and former educator and civil servant. A member of GroenLinks (GL), she replaced Wijnand Duyvendak as a member of the House of Representatives on 3 September 2008, after his resignation. She had temporarily been replacing Mariko Peters from the previous day who was on parental leave. From 16 December 2010 to 5 October 2012 she was party leader as well as parliamentary leader in the House of Representatives, replacing Femke Halsema who announced her retirement from politics as of that date.
E.J.J. (Hans) Schenk is a Dutch professor emeritus of economics and fellow of the Tjalling C. Koopmans Research Institute at Utrecht University’s School (NE) of Economics (USE) of which he was founding director. He was a Crown-appointed independent member of the Social and Economic Council SER of the Netherlands from 2010 until 2018. With other financial economics specialists, and help of Triodos Bank, he founded the Sustainable Finance Lab in 2011.
Cornelis Dingenis "Dennis" de Jong is a Dutch politician of the Socialist Party. He was elected and reelected to the European Parliament in 2009 and 2014 as his party's top candidate, and he was the Leader of the Socialist Party in the European Parliament. As an MEP, he is part of the European United Left–Nordic Green Left. in 2019, he did not seek reelection.
Cornelia "Cora" van Nieuwenhuizen-Wijbenga is a Dutch politician of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD). She served as Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management in the Third Rutte cabinet from 2017 to 2021, and briefly as Minister of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy in 2021.
Marit Elisabeth Maij is a Dutch politician and former management consultant, diplomat as well as civil servant. She was a member of the House of Representatives for the Labour Party between 20 September 2012 and 23 March 2017.
