Mary Blair was an American artist, animator, and designer. Blair also created character designs for enduring attractions such as Disneyland's It's a Small World, the fiesta scene in El Rio del Tiempo in the Mexico pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase, and an enormous mosaic inside Disney's Contemporary Resort. Several of her illustrated children's books from the 1950s remain in print, such as I Can Fly by Ruth Krauss. Blair was inducted into the group of Disney Legends in 1991.

Based on Charles Perrault's 1697 fairy tale, the production was supervised by Clyde Geronimi, and was directed by Wolfgang Reitherman, Eric Larson, and Les Clark. Featuring the voices of Mary Costa, Bill Shirley, Eleanor Audley, Verna Felton, Barbara Luddy, Barbara Jo Allen, Taylor Holmes, and Bill Thompson, the film follows Princess Aurora, who was cursed by the evil fairy Maleficent to die from a prick from the spindle of a spinning wheel. She is saved by three good fairies, who alter the curse so that the princess falls into a deep sleep and is awakened by true love's kiss.

Linda Ravenscroft is a self-taught artist and author best known for her paintings and drawings of fantasy subjects. Her work is influenced by William Morris and his contemporaries, as well by more modern illustrators such as Brian Froud. Ravenscroft became a professional artist in 1994 after the birth of her son, Dorian. Her first prints were published in 1998; since then, she has been featured in many Fantasy/Fairy Art books and illustrated and written several tutorial Faerie Art books, such as How to Draw and Paint Fairies (2005). Ravenscroft's work has been widely featured on cards and calendars. In 2013, Linda opened up a gallery, named "The Mystic Garden" after one of her early works, in Glastonbury, Somerset, which she runs with her husband, John.
Cinderella is a Disney franchise that commenced in 1950 with the theatrical release of the 1950 film Cinderella. The series' protagonist is Cinderella, who was based on the character of the same name from the Cinderella fairy tale.
Thomas Fleming is an artist who has worked on comic books, the fantasy/science fiction genre, and gaming. Fleming has been recognized with multiple awards throughout his career including four nominations for the Chesley Award. In 2012, a federal court awarded him damages due by HomeGoods, which sold unauthorized reproductions of two of his paintings.
