Jason Fred Brown (born 10 October 1974) [3] is a cricketer who has previously played for Northamptonshire,Nottinghamshire,England A and Staffordshire.
Jason Brown made his first-class debut for Northamptonshire against Yorkshire at the County Cricket Ground,Northampton in September 1996. Up to the end of the 2008 season,he had played 126 first-class matches for Northamptonshire as well as three matches for the England A team during their tour of the West Indies in January 2001. He also played on the senior England team's tour of Sri Lanka in 2000–01.
In these 129 matches,Brown has taken 414 wickets,with 22 instances of taking 5 wickets in an innings. His career best bowling was 7–69 against Durham at the Riverside Ground in 2003. He was released by Northamptonshire at the end of the 2008 season,and subsequently joined Nottinghamshire on a two-year contract. [4]
However,injuries limited his playing time at Nottinghamshire and he was released after just one year,ironically after Nottinghamshire signed Graeme White,another spinner from Northamptonshire. [5]

Frank Henry Vigar was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Essex County Cricket Club between 1938 and 1954. A right-handed batsman,and leg break bowler,Vigar served as an all-rounder with 8,858 runs at 26.28 and 241 wickets at 37.90. From his rained-off debut in 1938,Vigar went on to play 257 matches for his county. His greatest success came in the "golden summer" of 1947,where he scored 1,735 runs and took 64 wickets. A partnership with Peter Smith of 218 for the final wicket remains an Essex record.

The 2013 County Championship season,known as the LV= County Championship for sponsorship reasons,was the 114th cricket County Championship season. It was contested through two divisions:Division One and Division Two. Each team played all the others in their division both home and away. Durham were County Champions for the third time in six seasons. The top two teams from Division Two,Lancashire and Northamptonshire,gained promotion to the first division for the 2014 season,while the bottom two sides from Division One—Derbyshire and Surrey—were relegated to Division Two for 2014.
In 2017,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,the Royal London One-Day Cup and the NatWest t20 Blast. In addition,before the start of the English cricket season,Kent competed in the 2016–17 Regional Super50,the List A competition of the West Indian domestic season. This was the first time that any English county had competed in an overseas domestic competition. The invitation to take part in the tournament was largely due to the influence of former West Indian captain Jimmy Adams who had been Kent's Head Coach until September 2016.
