Jason P. Lorber is a consultant,comedian and politician from Burlington,Vermont. A Democrat,he served in the Vermont House of Representatives from 2005 to 2013,representing the Chittenden-3-3 district in Burlington. He was first elected in November 2004 and did not seek re-election in 2012. [1]
Born in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania,Lorber graduated from the University of California,Berkeley with a BA and earned an MBA from Stanford University. [2] He founded a business called Aplomb Consulting,which facilitates change in organizations and businesses through strategic planning,tailored workshops,executive coaching,and organizational development. Lorber works directly with Executive Directors,CEOs,board members and other leaders of businesses,not-for-profit organizations,and government agencies. [3]
First elected to the legislature in November 2004,he was re-elected in 2006,2008 and 2010. He served on the House Institutions &Corrections Committee,and focussed much of his legislative effort on prison reform. He hosted a television program called "Correcting Corrections" broadcast on CCTV Channel 17. [4]

Peter A. Clavelle is an American politician who served as the 38th and 40th mayor of Burlington,Vermont,and was the first member of a third party to hold the office since James Edmund Burke in 1935. Edward J. Cashman is an American lawyer and retired judge from Vermont. He is a former state district court judge. Judge Cashman,a Vietnam veteran and Catholic of Irish descent,was appointed to the bench in 1982 by Republican Governor Richard A. Snelling. "Cashman worked for the attorney general's office,the Chittenden County clerk,served on the state Public Service Board and worked in private practice before becoming state's attorney in Grand Isle County in 1978.". In September 2006,Judge Cashman announced his pending retirement upon completion of his term in March 2007. Judge Cashman did retain his part-time employment with Johnson State College,teaching a course on constitutional law. In addition,Judge Cashman is an adjunct professor at Champlain College in Burlington,VT,where he teaches two criminal law courses.
Bob Kiss is an American politician and former mayor of Burlington,Vermont. Kiss was a member of the Vermont House of Representatives from January 2001 until he stepped down to assume office as mayor of Burlington,following his election to that office in March 2006. He is a member of the Vermont Progressive Party. Kiss won re-election in 2009,and was endorsed by Vermont's Independent U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders. In November 2011,Kiss announced that he would not seek re-election in the 2012 Burlington mayoral election.

Miro Weinberger is an American politician who was the 42nd mayor of Burlington,Vermont. He was the city's first Democratic Party mayor since Gordon Paquette was defeated by Bernie Sanders in 1981. Weinberger was the Democratic Party chair for Chittenden County during the 2004 election cycle. He also was on the Burlington Airport Commission for nine years,as board president of the Turning Point Center of Chittenden County,a drug addiction recovery organization,and on the board of the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center,Leahy Center for Lake Champlain.
