He is Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly on 3 July 2022 and he is the second-youngest person to be elected speaker of any state in the country, the youngest being Shivraj Patil. In May 2023, he completed a 4-day UK tour speaking at the Ideas for India Conference organised by Bridge India in London, and speaking with students at Cambridge University. His tour attracted media attention because of its proximity to the Supreme Court judgement on the disqualification of 16 MLAs of the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
Richard Wilson is a Canadian politician elected in the 2019 Alberta general election to represent the electoral district of Maskwacis-Wetaskiwin in the 30th Alberta Legislature. On April 30, 2019, he was appointed to the Executive Council of Alberta as the Minister of Indigenous Relations. He was re-elected in the 2023 provincial election held on May 29.
Searle Turton is a Canadian politician who is the Alberta Minister of Children and Family Services. He was elected in the 2019 Alberta general election to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta representing the electoral district of Spruce Grove-Stony Plain. Turton previously was a city councillor in the City of Spruce Grove from 2010 to 2019 until his election as MLA. Pat Rehn is a Canadian politician who was elected in the 2019 Alberta general election to represent the electoral district of Lesser Slave Lake in the 30th Alberta Legislature. Elected as a member of the United Conservative Party (UCP), he was removed from caucus and banned from running for the party after a history of alleged poor representation of his constituency and ignoring public health advisories against non-essential international travel during the COVID-19 pandemic in Alberta. He later rejoined caucus after an internal caucus vote.
Harry Harvey is a Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) politician, serving as a Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly (MLA) for Strangford since 2019. He is the DUP Spokesperson for Cultural Development and Loyal Orders and Groups Engagement. He was a Newry, Mourne and Down Councillor for the Rowallane DEA from 2014 to 2019.
R. Bruce Banman is a Canadian politician in the province of British Columbia. He is the Member of the Legislative Assembly for the electoral district of Abbotsford South. First elected in the 2020 British Columbia general election as a BC Liberal, he crossed the floor to join the Conservative Party on September 13, 2023. Prior to his election to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, he was the mayor of Abbotsford, British Columbia from 2011 to 2014, and an Abbotsford city councillor from 2018 to 2021.
Adam Walker is a Canadian politician who was elected to the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia in the 2020 British Columbia general election. He represents the electoral district of Parksville-Qualicum as an Independent.
