Stevens Institute of Technology is a private research university in Hoboken, New Jersey. A Master of Engineering Management (MEM) is sometimes compared to a Master of Business Administration (MBA) for professionals seeking a graduate degree as a qualifying credential for a career in engineering management.
Santa Clara University School of Engineering was founded and began offering bachelor's degrees in 1912. Over the next century, as the Santa Clara Valley transformed from a largely agricultural area to an industrial center, the school added master and doctoral programs designed to meet the area's growing need for expert engineers. Today, the Silicon Valley provides a setting for the school's programs offered through a broad range of departments.
The Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science is the engineering school of Yale University. Subra Suresh is an Indian-born American engineer, materials scientist, and academic leader. The Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC) is a federation of fourteen engineering societies based in Canada, covering a broad range of engineering branches, and with a history going back to 1887. First known as the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers, it became the first national professional engineering society in Canada.

Marcia Kilchenman O'Malley is an American mechanical engineer, the Thomas Michael Panos Family Professor in Mechanical Engineering and associate dean for research and innovation for the George R. Brown School of Engineering at Rice University. Her research concerns "systems for enhancing the human sensorimotor control system", including work on exoskeletons, neuroprosthetics, haptic technology, and brain–computer interfaces.
Mary Lynn Realff is an American mechanical engineer and materials scientist specializing in researching the mechanical properties of textiles. She is an associate professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech, and co-director of the Georgia Tech Center for Women, Science, and Technology. Beyond her research on textiles, she is also known for her explorations of group work in engineering education.
Elaine Patricia Scott is an American mechanical engineer and academic administrator, the dean of the Santa Clara University School of Engineering and John M. Sobrato Endowed Professor at Santa Clara University. Her research has concerned heat transfer and the design of experiments.
Hong Liang is a Chinese-American nanotribologist whose research focuses on nanoparticles on surfaces, and the nanostructure of surfaces. She is Oscar S. Wyatt Jr. Professor and professor of mechanical engineering at Texas A&M University, president of the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers, and editor-in-chief of Tribology International.
