Jennifer "Jenny" Frost (born 22 February 1978) is an English singer and television presenter. She is best known as member of girl groups Precious and Atomic Kitten, replacing Kerry Katona in the latter.
Frost was born in Wallasey, Merseyside [1] [2] and grew up in Prestwich, near Manchester. She loved music from an early age. Her earliest concert experience was when her father took her to a Level 42 concert at the age of nine. [3] Sport and dancing were Frost's favourite activities, however, modelling was her dream. After attending St Monica's High School she started to work for the BBC Television for the Holiday programme and travelling around the world.[ citation needed ]
In 1998, Frost joined the girl group Precious, who were the UK entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1999, with the song "Say It Again", peaking top 10 hit in UK. Subsequent releases by Precious enjoyed only modest success, and their debut album failed to chart at all, ultimately leading the group to go their separate ways in 2000. [4] In 2001, Frost moved on by replacing Kerry Katona in Atomic Kitten, a girl group founded by OMD frontman Andy McCluskey. With Frost, Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton, Atomic Kitten have had three UK number one singles, "Whole Again", "Eternal Flame", and "The Tide Is High (Get the Feeling)". The group also had two UK number one albums, Right Now , and Feels So Good , both being certified double-platinum in the UK for sales of over 600,000 copies each. The total worldwide sales are estimated at 6.2 million singles and 4 million albums. [5]
After the split, Frost signed with Storm Model Management and became face for Nelsons (Homeopathy) products. [6] [7] [8] In 2005 appeared on the 2005 edition of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! on the ITV network, where she was eliminated on day 14. Frost features on Route 1's single "Crash Landing", released on 10 October 2005, which peaked at number 47. [9] Frost planned to release a solo album and recorded several songs, such as "Mirrors" and "Bad Girl", but dropped it when she failed to sign with a record label. [10] From 2008 to 2011, Frost presented the successful BBC Three programme Snog Marry Avoid? . Also in 2011 she co-presented OK! TV on Channel 5. [11] [12] In 2012 she presented the talk show The Wright Stuff , her last work before taking a long hiatus from her artistic career to prioritize her family. [13]
In 2013 Atomic Kitten were reformed, but Frost refused to rejoin them, and Kerry Katona returned as the third piece. [14] From 2021 Frost rejoined Atomic Kitten.
From 2001 to August 2010 she dated the DJ Dominic Thrupp, with whom she had her first child, born on 9 October 2007. [15] [16] The couple planned to get married in January 2010, but they cancelled following the death of Frost's mother Rita from lung cancer and, months later, they broke up. [17] [18] Frost's father died in September 2017. [19] In August 2011, she married Spanish scuba diver Vicente Juan Spiteri in Ibiza. [20] [21] Their twin daughters were born on 20 January 2013. [22]

Atomic Kitten is an English girl group formed in Liverpool in 1998, whose current members are Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton. The group was founded by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) members Andy McCluskey and Stuart Kershaw, who served as principal songwriters during Atomic Kitten's early years. The group's debut album Right Now was released in October 2000 and charted at number 39 in the United Kingdom. After five top ten singles, original member Kerry Katona quit – four weeks before "Whole Again" reached number one in the UK Singles Chart – and was replaced by former Precious singer Jenny Frost. "Whole Again" became the group's most successful single, staying at number one for four weeks in the UK and six weeks in Germany, and reaching number one in many other territories; in Britain, it was the 13th-best-selling single of the 2000s. The group re-released their debut album, with some tracks re-recorded with Frost's vocals: it peaked at number one in the UK and was certified double platinum after selling over 600,000 copies.

Heidi India Partakis is an English singer, best known as a former member of the girl group Sugababes. She was an original member of girl group Atomic Kitten, however she left the group before they released any material. In 2001, Range replaced original member Siobhán Donaghy in the Sugababes, after which the group enjoyed higher commercial success and accumulated six UK number-one singles as well as two number-one studio albums over the course of a decade, before the line-up at the time disbanded in 2011.

The Collection is the second compilation album by English girl group Atomic Kitten. It was released by EMI Records on 2 May 2005 to coincide with the group's temporary reunion on their single "Cradle." The album consists of singles, B-sides and tracks from their first three albums Right Now (2000), Feels So Good (2002), and Ladies Night (2003). While it failed to chart, The Collection was certified Silver by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) in July 2013. Although she does not appear on the album cover and is not credited, Kerry Katona's vocals do appear on the album.

It is a re-recorded version of a song that was previously included on their debut album, Right Now (2000). "Cradle" was released a year after the group's announcement of their split in 2004. "Cradle 2005" reached number 10 on the UK Singles Chart and number 46 in Ireland.
"Someone like Me" is a song by British girl group Atomic Kitten. Released on 29 March 2004 as the third and final single from their third studio album, Ladies Night (2003), the piano-driven track was issued as a double A-side with "Right Now 2004", a remixed version of their debut single, "Right Now". With the group having announced their split prior to the song's release, it was originally intended to be released as their final single, though they later released a further three one-off singles in 2005 and two charity singles in 2006 and 2008. The group reformed officially in September 2012 without Jenny Frost, who was replaced with original member Kerry Katona.
