Jessica Eldridge (born December 17, 1997) is a Canadian ice hockey player currently playing for PWHL New York in the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She skated for the Canadian National women's ice hockey team during its Rivalry Series with the United States national team in February 2020.
Graduating from the Colgate Raiders in 2019, Eldridge recorded 74 goals and 89 assists, earning the top spot on Colgate's all-time points leader board. [1] Eldridge appeared in the 2018 NCAA National Collegiate Women's Ice Hockey Tournament Championship game, an historic first in program history. In the 2018–19 Colgate Raiders women's ice hockey season, her 30-goal output broke the program record for most goals in a single season.
Eldridge attended Canada's National Women's Development Team selection camp in Calgary, Alberta in August 2019. [2] Named to Canada's roster for the February 2020 Rivalry Series versus the United States, Eldridge made her debut with the national team on February 3, 2020 in Victoria, British Columbia. [3]
In April 2021, Eldridge was part of the National Women's Team Selection Camp Roster, in anticipation of the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championships. [4]
Skating for Team Bauer (Montreal), Eldridge participated in the 2021 Secret Cup, which was the Canadian leg of the PWHPA Dream Gap Tour. In a 4-2 championship game win over Team Sonnet (Toronto), she logged a goal and an assist. [5]
On September 18, 2023, Eldridge was selected in the 3rd round, 16th overall, by PWHL New York in the 2023 PWHL Draft. She signed a two-year contract with the club in November 2023. [6]

The Colgate Raiders women's ice hockey team is an NCAA Division I ice hockey team that represents Colgate University and play in ECAC Hockey. The Raiders play their home games at Class of 1965 Arena. The Raiders have played in Division I hockey since the 2001–02 season after playing at the NCAA Division III from 1997 to 2001.
The Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey program represents Quinnipiac University. The Bobcats have competed in ECAC Hockey since the 2005-2006 season where they replaced Vermont when the Catamounts moved to Hockey East. Prior to that season the Bobcats competed in College Hockey America for the 2004-2005 season, played as a Division I Independent for the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons, and in the ECAC Division I Eastern division for the 2001-2002 season.

The Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the promotion of professional women's ice hockey. It was founded in May 2019 following the dissolution of the Canadian Women's Hockey League. PWHPA members expressed dissatisfaction with the operations of the existing professional National Women's Hockey League and vowed to boycott existing women's leagues and to work towards the establishment of a unified, financially sustainable professional league. From 2019 to 2023, the PWHPA organized a series of exhibition seasons, known as the Dream Gap tours, to generate support towards its goal.
