Luny Tunes are an American reggaeton production duo consisting of Francisco Saldaña (Luny) and Víctor Cabrera (Tunes) who have been known for creating unique musical rhythms for some of the most popular reggaeton artists since the early 2000s.
Latin Rhythm Airplay is an airplay-only chart published weekly by Billboard that ranks the most popular songs being played on Hispanic rhythmic/hurban radio stations in the United States. "Mayor Que Yo" is a Bachatón single from the album Mas Flow 2. It is song by Daddy Yankee, Tony Tun Tun, Baby Ranks, Wisin & Yandel and Héctor el Father, and produced by Luny Tunes. The song reached number three on the Latin Tropical Airplay chart, number three on the Hot Latin Tracks chart and number 11 on the Latin Pop Airplay chart.
José Fernando Cosculluela Suárez, known professionally as Cosculluela, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer and songwriter. In 2018, he was caught up in a controversy after fellow rapper Anuel AA released a diss track.
"Abusadora" is the second single by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel from their album La Revolución. The music video has been airplay on Mun2 and MTV Tr3s. At the 10th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, the song won the award for Best Urban Song. It received a nomination a Latin Rhythm Airplay Song of the Year at the 2010 Latin Billboard Music Awards. This is the fourth song recorded in Spanish to be nominated for an MTV Video Music Award behind Shakira's "La Tortura" (2005) and Daddy Yankee's "Gasolina" and "Rompe".
The eighth annual Premios MTV Latinoamérica 2009 took place on October 15, 2009 in Bogotá, Colombia at Corferias, at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, United States, Mexico City, Mexico and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
"Te Siento" is a song performed by reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. The song is taken from Wisin & Yandel's re-release studio album Evolution. It was released as the third single on December 15, 2009. On November 5, 2009 a part of the song was performed first time on the Latin Grammy Awards 2009 along with "Abusadora", using a short intro-video to perform.
Los Vaqueros 2: El Regreso is the seventh studio album by Reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. Featured guests are not only signed to WY Records, but also non-Latino artists from the hip hop genre as T-Pain, 50 Cent and Sean Kingston. The album was released on January 25, 2011, through Universal. This album is the sequel to Los Vaqueros.
"Follow the Leader" is a song by Puerto Rican duo Wisin & Yandel and American singer Jennifer Lopez. They performed the song during the American Idol season eleven finale. The song went on to sell over 500,000 copies in pure sales in the United States earning a gold certification.
"Adrenalina" (transl. "Adrenaline") is a song recorded by Puerto Rican rapper Wisin, featuring Puerto Rican singer Ricky Martin and American singer Jennifer Lopez for the former's second studio album, El Regreso del Sobreviviente (2014). It was written by Martin, Lopez, Wisin, Chris Jeday, Luis Enrique Ortiz Rivera, and José "Gocho" Torres, while the production was handled by Jeday. The song was released for digital download by Sony Music Latin on February 18, 2014, as the second single from the album. A Spanish language Latin dance song with hip hop and pop rock influences, its lyrics are sensual.
Puerto Rican rapper Daddy Yankee has released 98 music videos and one film. His first music videos were directed for various underground mixtapes during the 1990s decade, in which he appeared as guest artist. No videos were filmed for his debut studio album No Mercy (1995). Three clips were filmed for his second studio album El Cangri.com (2002), including "Latigazo", directed by Puerto Rican rapper and producer Eddie Dee, which introduced his music in New York City and Miami in the United States. In 2002, he made a brief appearance in the documentary Big Pun: Still Not a Player.
The 31st Premio Lo Nuestro ceremony was held on February 21, 2019. Univision broadcast the show live from the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami, Florida. Mexican-American TV presenter, Alejandra Espinoza, Mexican singer and actress Maite Perroni, and American singer Victor Manuelle hosted the ceremony.
The 24th annual Billboard Latin Music Awards which honor the most popular albums, songs, and performers in Latin music took place in Miami.
"Si Supieras" is a song by Puerto Rican rapper and singer Daddy Yankee and Puerto Rican duo Wisin & Yandel, released on June 28, 2019 by El Cartel Records. The track was written by Daddy Yankee, Wisin, Yandel, Rafael Pina, Eric "Lobo" Rodríguez, Juan "Gaby Music" Rivera, Francisco "Luny" Saldaña, and Marco "Tainy" Masis, and was produced by Dominican producer Luny and Puerto Rican producer Tainy.
The 2021 Premios Juventud ceremony took place July 22, 2021. Univision broadcast the show live from the Watsco Center, with Alejandra Espinoza hosting the event. Premios Juventud aims to inspire, motivate and empower Latino youth to become leaders for change. The awards celebrate the current trends in pop culture, music, digital, fashion, television and social media. Daddy Yankee was honored with the "Agent Of Change" award.
The Premios Tu Música Urbano is an award presented by television network Telemundo Puerto Rico to recognize artists who "transcended and boosted the success of Latin urban music around the world." The show is held annually at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in Puerto Rico since 2019, is produced by Telemundo, Sora & Company and Mr. & Mrs. Entertainment, and is broadcast by Telemundo Puerto Rico in Latin America and by Telemundo in the United States. The awards were created in response to the lack of representation of reggaeton and Latin trap artists in the Latin Grammy Awards main categories and the absence of a separate Latin urban category at the Grammy Awards.
