Jetze Plat (born 10 June 1991 in Amsterdam) is a Dutch para-cyclist in the H4 class. He also competes in the paratriathlon.
Plat was born with two stunted legs. In 1995, Plat started using a handcycle, to cycle to school. Later he started practising the sport para-cycling. In the beginning of his athletic career Plat was coached and trained by Kees van Breukelen. As Plat improved in the sport he was coached by Ralf Bekers. During the World Cup in Rome[ when? ], Plat qualified for the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London.
In the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio, Plat competed in both cycling and para-triathlon. He won the paratriathlon gold medal in the PT1 class. [1] He also won a bronze medal in the Men's Road Race in H5 class. These were his first Paralympic medals.
He was one of the flag bearers for the Netherlands during the opening ceremony of the 2020 Summer Paralympics. [2] [3]
In Tokyo, at the 2020 Summer Paralympics, Plat competed in both cycling and para-triathlon again. He won gold medals in the Men's H4 Road Race and Men's H4 Time Trial for cycling and a gold medal in the para-triathlon (Men's Individual PTWC).
Erik Horrie is an Australian wheelchair basketball player and a five-time world champion rower. He was a member of the Australia men's national wheelchair basketball team. Switching to rowing in 2011, he made an immediate impact in the sport, first winning the NSW State Rowing Championships and then the National Rowing Championships in Adelaide. Kathleen Margaret "Katie" Kelly is an Australian paratriathlete, who has a degenerative disease known as Usher syndrome. Kelly began competing in the PT5 paratriathlon classification in February 2015 when her condition deteriorated to a legally blind state. She has just 30 per cent of her vision. With her guide Michellie Jones, Kelly won gold medals at the 2015 and 2017 ITU World Championships and 2016 Rio Paralympics. She competed at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.
Emily Tapp is an Australian wheelchair Paralympic athlete and triathlete. She was selected to represent Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics in athletics but was forced to withdraw before the Games due to a burns injury. She represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in paratriathlon.
Nic Beveridge is an elite Australian triathlete with a disability. He represented Australia at the 2016 Rio Paralympics when Triathlon made its debut at the Games and 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. He represented Australia at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games where he won a silver medal.

Townsend has won the GBR Paratriathlon National Championships for four consecutive years- 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019. He lost both legs whilst serving in Afghanistan, after stepping on an IED in 2008. Joe Townsend is based in Eastbourne, England, where he was born.
George Peasgood is a British paratriathlete who competes in the PTS5 classification. He represented Great Britain at the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio, where he finished seventh. Peasgood has won the GBR Paratriathlon National Championships four times- 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019. George Peasgood is based in Loughborough, England where he trains at the Loughborough Performance Centre. He was born in Saffron Walden, Essex.
Fleur Jong is a Dutch Paralympic athlete. She won the gold medal in the women's long jump T64 event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan. She also set a new world record of 6.16 metres. As of September 2023, her current world record in this event is 6.74 metres.
