Jhataleka Malhotra is an Indian actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned the first runner-up in Femina Miss India 2014. She represented India at Miss International 2014 held in Japan where she won the Miss Internet Beauty award though she did not get placed. [1] [2]

Malhotra participated in Femina Miss India 2014 and was crowned as Femina Miss India International 2014 by Sobhita Dhulipala. She also won Best National Costume award.

Miss International 2014

Malhotra competed in Miss International 2014 and won Miss Internet Beauty award at the pageant and her national costume, designed by Melvyn Noronha, was the 3rd runner-up. [1] [2] [3]

Career

In 2021, Malhotra made her film debut, starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's romantic film Tuesdays And Fridays opposite actress Poonam Dhillon’s son, Anmol Thakeria Dhillon. The film released on 19 February. [4]

Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, also simply known as Ram-Leela, is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language romantic action - drama film written and directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who also composed its original soundtrack. The film was jointly produced by Bhansali and Eros International's Kishore Lulla and stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in lead roles with Priyanka Chopra making a special appearance in the song "Ram Chahe Leela". The supporting cast includes Supriya Pathak, Richa Chadda, Sharad Kelkar, Gulshan Devaiah, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, and Abhimanyu Singh. Based on the tragedy Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, Ram-Leela narrates the star-crossed romance between the two eponymous lovers from two gangster families, who fall in love with each other, but are forced to separate due to their families' centuries old rivalry.

The 50th edition of Femina Miss India was held at Yash Raj Studios, Mumbai, on March 24, 2013. The show was telecast live on Colors. A total of 23 contestants competed in the beauty pageant. Navneet Kaur Dhillon of Punjab was crowned Femina Miss India World 2013 by the outgoing titleholder Vanya Mishra. Sobhita Dhulipala and Zoya Afroz were crowned the 1st and 2nd Runners Up respectively.

"Ram Chahe Leela" is a 2013 song from the film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela directed and composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The song was sung by Bhoomi Trivedi and was written by Siddharth-Garima and was picturised on Priyanka Chopra.

The 51st edition of the Femina Miss India beauty pageant was held on April 5, 2014 in Mumbai, India. Finalists had been selected in a previous round held in Bangalore in January 2014, with 24 women competing for the title of Miss India World. Koyal Rana from Delhi was crowned Femina Miss India 2014 by the previous year's winner Navneet Kaur Dhillon, while Jhataleka Malhotra and Gail Nicole Da Silva were crowned 1st and 2nd Runners Up respectively.
