Ji-Hae Park (born in Germany) is a German-born Korean violinist.
Park received her first violin lessons from her mother, Lee Yeun-Hong, when she was five years old. At age 14, she performed as soloist with the Mainz Chamber Orchestra. In 2001 and 2002, she was awarded a first prize at the German national music competition for children and young adults, both as a solo and chamber musician. In 2003, she became a student of Ulf Hoelscher at the Karlsruhe University of Music and received a scholarship. [1] In the same year, she was awarded a second prize and two special prizes at the „Remember Enescu“ violin competition in Romania. Starting in 2007, she studied with Jaime Laredo at the Indiana University Bloomington.
In 2011, Park gave a recital at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall. [2] [3] In 2013, she spoke about the role of music for her mental health ad a TED conference in Long Beach.
In the same year, Park recorded an album with Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" and other works from the baroque era in a rock music style for Universal. In 2015, Decca published an album with romantic violin sonatas. She lives in Korea and has published a number of albmums with Christian music based on several performances in churches. [4] In 2012, Park appeared on the Korean TV show “Star King”.
For several years, Park played a Guarneri violin from 1735, a loan from the Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben. [5] In her free time, she is interested in ice hockey and was an honorary ambassador for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang. [6] She again became an honorary ambassador for the 2012 World Expo in Yeosu.
Sarah Chang is a Korean American classical violinist. Recognized as a child prodigy, she first played as a soloist with the New York Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra in 1989. She enrolled at Juilliard School to study music, graduated in 1999, and continued university studies. Especially during the 1990s and early to mid-2000s, Chang had major roles as a soloist with many of the world's major orchestras.
Midori Goto, who performs under the mononym Midori, is a Japanese-born American violinist. She made her debut with the New York Philharmonic at age 11 as a surprise guest soloist at the New Year's Eve Gala in 1982. In 1986 her performance at the Tanglewood Music Festival with Leonard Bernstein conducting his own composition made the front-page headlines in The New York Times. Midori became a celebrated child prodigy, and one of the world's preeminent violinists as an adult.
Anne-Sophie Mutter is a German violinist. Born and raised in Rheinfelden, Baden-Württemberg, Mutter started playing the violin at age five and continued studies in Germany and Switzerland. She was supported early in her career by Herbert von Karajan and made her orchestral debut with the Berlin Philharmonic in 1977. Since Mutter gained prominence in the 1970s and 1980s, she has recorded over 50 albums, mostly with the Deutsche Grammophon label, and performed as a soloist with leading orchestras worldwide and as a recitalist. Her primary instrument is the Lord Dunn–Raven Stradivarius violin.

Nicola Joy Nadia Benedetti is an Italian-Scottish classical solo violinist and festival director. Her ability was recognised when she was a child, including the award of BBC Young Musician of the Year when she was 16. She works with orchestras in Europe and America as well as with Alexei Grynyuk, her regular pianist. Since 2012, she has played the Gariel Stradivarius violin. In 2019, she founded the music education charity The Benedetti Foundation and became the first woman to lead the Edinburgh International Festival when she was made Festival Director on 1 October 2022.
Sirena Huang is an American concert violinist. She has received numerous awards, including First Prize at the International Violin Competition of Indianapolis, First Prize at the Elmar Oliveira International Violin Competition, First Place at the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians, and Third Place at the Singapore International Violin Competition and the Shanghai Isaac Stern International Violin Competition. She has performed with orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. Huang was appointed as the first Artist-in-Residence of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra in 2011.

Wanda Wiłkomirska was a Polish violinist and academic teacher. She was known for both the classical repertoire and for her interpretation of 20th-century music, having received two Polish State Awards for promoting Polish music to the world as well as other awards for her contribution to music. She gave world premiere performances of numerous contemporary works, including music by Tadeusz Baird and Krzysztof Penderecki. Wiłkomirska performed on a violin crafted by Pietro Guarneri in 1734 in Venice. She taught at the music academies of Mannheim and Sydney.

Chamber Orchestra of New York is a professional orchestra founded as Chamber Orchestra of New York - Ottorino Respighi by the Italian composer and conductor Salvatore Di Vittorio. It was established on March 27, 2006, on the 250th anniversary of the birth of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with its debut concert on October 11, 2007 at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall as part of the inaugural 2007/2008 Season.
