Jim Atchison is an American business executive. He was the President and Chief Executive Officer of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, positions he had held since 2009. [1] On December 11, 2014 he resigned. SeaWorld acknowledged in August 2014 that the film Blackfish had hurt revenues at its San Diego, California park. At the time of Atchison's resignation the company's share price had fallen 44% that year. [2]

He previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Busch Entertainment Corporation from 2007 to 2009, and as Executive Vice President and General Manager of SeaWorld Orlando from 2003 to 2007. [1] [3]

Atchison is a past member of the University of Central Florida Board of Trustees. [4] He graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, and from UCF with a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) in 1992. [1] [4]

He was the dean of Florida's university presidents, as the longest tenured president in the state. Blackfish is a 2013 American documentary film directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite. It concerns Tilikum, an orca held by SeaWorld and the controversy over captive orcas. The film premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival on January 19, 2013, and was picked up by Magnolia Pictures and CNN Films for wider release. It was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Documentary.

Alex Martins is an American sports executive. He is currently the chief executive officer, of the Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association, positions he has held since 2006. He began his career with the Magic in 1989 as the team's public relations director.
