John Rush (born October 23, 1993) is a former Canadian football fullback. He was signed as a free agent on November 30, 2015 by the Blue Bombers after going unselected in the 2015 CFL Draft. [1] [2] [3]
Rush played CIS football at linebacker for the Guelph Gryphons from 2011 to 2015 where he won the Presidents' Trophy in his final year as university football's best defensive player. [4] He attended training camp with the Blue Bombers in 2016, but was part of the team's final cuts that year. Having exhausted his college eligibility, he played for the Canadian Junior Football League's Hamilton Hurricanes in 2016. [5] Following that year focusing on special teams play, he was re-signed by the Blue Bombers on December 13, 2016. [6]

Zachary J. Collaros is an American professional Canadian football quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Collaros won the 107th Grey Cup and 108th Grey Cup as the starting quarterback with the Blue Bombers when they defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in both games. He had previously won the Grey Cup as the backup quarterback with the Toronto Argonauts in the 100th Grey Cup. Collaros played football at the University of Cincinnati, and has also been a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Toronto Argonauts.
Jackson Jeffcoat is a former gridiron football defensive end who played his entire Canadian Football League (CFL) career with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Jeffcoat won the 107th and 108th Grey Cup when the Blue Bombers defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to conclude the 2019 and 2021 seasons. He played college football at the University of Texas at Austin. Jeffcoat was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2014, and also played in the National Football League (NFL) for the Washington Redskins and the Cleveland Browns.
Hénoc Muamba is a Congolese-Canadian former professional football linebacker who played in both the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the National Football League (NFL). He is a two-time CFL All-Star, three-time CFL Divisional All-Star, and was named the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian in 2017. Adam Bighill is an American gridiron football linebacker for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Hs is a three-time Grey Cup champion, winning with the BC Lions in 2011 and twice more with the Blue Bombers in 2019 and 2021. Jedd Gardner is a Canadian football wide receiver for the Guelph Gryphons. He was selected to compete in the East–West bowl and in the 2011 CFL combine. He was drafted 28th overall by the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League in the 2011 CFL Draft and signed with the team on May 31, 2011. After being released following the 2011 training camp, Gardner was sent to play for Team Canada in the IFAF World Cup Tournament and after returned to play out his final year at Guelph. During his college career Gardner posted some impressive numbers 152 receptions for 2515 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also added 200 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. In the return game Gardner posted 989 punt returns yards on 17 attempts for an amazing 58.18 yards/return with 4 touchdowns. As a kick returner he tallied 570 yards and 1 touchdown. Gardner also holds the 3 of the longest plays in CIS history at 129 yards, 128 yards, and 125 yards.
The Guelph Gryphons football team represents the University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario in the sport of Canadian football in the Ontario University Athletics conference of U Sports. The Guelph Gryphons football team has been in continuous operation since 1950. The team has won one Vanier Cup national championship in 1984, which is also their only appearance in the title game. The Gryphons are the only program with a perfect record in Vanier Cup games. The team has also won four Yates Cup conference championships, in 1984, 1992, 1996 and 2015.
