Joseph Stephens is an American multi-instrumentalist, film score composer, and songwriter. He composed music for the television show The Righteous Gemstones, the film Observe and Report , directed by Jody Hill [ citation needed ] as well as the HBO series Eastbound & Down , produced by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay’s Gary Sanchez Productions. Stephens is also a founding member of the band Pyramid, which provided the score for Hill’s feature film debut, The Foot Fist Way . [2] Pyramid also co-composed Shotgun Stories , from director Jeff Nichols, and composed additional music for Craig Zobel’s Great World of Sound .[ citation needed ] Additionally, Stephens contributed original Pyramid songs to two David Gordon Green films; the Sundance Film Festival Special Jury Prize-winning All the Real Girls and the critically acclaimed Undertow .[ citation needed ]

Stephens is also a member of the band City Wolf, which covered the classic Pixies’ song “Where Is My Mind?” for Observe and Report .

David Gordon Green American filmmaker

David Gordon Green is an American filmmaker. He directed the dramas George Washington (2000), All the Real Girls (2003), and Snow Angels (2007), as well as the thriller Undertow (2004), all of which he wrote or co-wrote.

He was best known for his score for the 1944 MGM musical Meet Me in St. Louis, in which Judy Garland sang three Martin songs, "The Boy Next Door," "The Trolley Song," and "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas." The last of these has become a Christmas season standard in the United States and around the English-speaking world. Martin became a close friend of Garland and was her accompanist at many of her concert performances in the 1950s, including her appearances at the Palace Theater.

Paravoor Govindan Devarajan (1927-2006), popularly known as G. Devarajan or Devarajan master, was an Indian music composer and Carnatic singer. He scored music for more than three hundred Malayalam films, many dramas, and twenty Tamil and four Kannada movies. Heavy Young Heathens are American film, film trailer, and television composers, consisting of brothers Aron and Robert Mardo. They are known for their work composing and performing music for television series including Big Sky, Eastbound & Down, The Simpsons, The Righteous Gemstones, and Dead to Me. The Righteous Gemstones is an American black comedy television series created by Danny McBride that premiered on August 18, 2019, on HBO. The series follows a famous yet dysfunctional family of televangelists. It stars McBride, John Goodman, Edi Patterson, Adam DeVine, Cassidy Freeman, Tony Cavalero, Tim Baltz, Skyler Gisondo, and Walton Goggins. In September 2019, HBO renewed the series for a second season, which premiered on January 9, 2022. In January 2022, the series was renewed for a third season.
