Joshua Robert Colley is an American actor and singer.
Joshua Robert Colley was born on January 20, 2002, to Brad and Robbie Lynn Colley. Colley was raised in Trinity, Florida. [1] He has a twin brother named Cameron.
Colley played the role of Les in the musical Newsies between March 11, 2013 and February 2, 2014. In January 2014, it was announced that Colley would play the role of Gavroche in the Broadway revival of Les Misérables , alternating in that role with Gaten Matarazzo. [2] Colley started with the show when it began previews on March 1, 2014 and performed until March 1, 2015. [3] The Huffington Post called Colley's performance "'grounded and believable and anything but an outtake from Oliver! " [4]
In 2014, Colley was cast as the voice of Pig Robinson in the Nick Jr. Channel animated television show Peter Rabbit . He voiced the role from 2014 to 2015. [5] [6]
Colley played the lead role in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown at the York Theater Company from May 24, 2016 to June 26, 2016. [7] The cast album was released on November 18, 2016 by Broadway Records. [8]
He took one week off of the run to perform in The Little Mermaid at the Hollywood Bowl. Colley played the role of Flounder, alongside Sara Bareilles, Tituss Burgess, John Stamos, and Rebel Wilson in the first week of June 2016. [9]
In 2021, he joined the cast of Hulu's Sex Appeal as well as American comedy film Senior Year. [10]
In the third and final season of the coming-of-age series Love, Victor Colley portrayed Liam, Victor's sharp-tongued classmate. [11] [12]
In 2024, he appeared as Monty, a crow turned into a teenaged boy, in the first season of the Netflix series Dead Boy Detectives .
He will play a teen version of Captain Hook in the upcoming Disney+ film Descendants: The Rise of Red . [13]

Les Misérables, colloquially known as Les Mis or Les Miz, is a sung-through musical with music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, and a book by Schönberg and Boublil, based on the 1862 novel of the same name by Victor Hugo. The original French musical premiered in Paris in 1980 with direction by Robert Hossein. Its English-language adaptation, with lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, produced by Cameron Mackintosh, has been running in London since October 1985, making it the longest-running musical in the West End and the second longest-running musical in the world after the original Off-Broadway run of The Fantasticks. A film adaptation was released in 2012.
The Little Mermaid is a 1989 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation in association with Silver Screen Partners IV and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Gavroche is a fictional character in the 1862 novel Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. He is a boy who lives on the streets of Paris. His name has become a synonym for an urchin or street child. Gavroche plays a short yet significant role in the many adaptations of Les Misérables, sharing the populist ideology of the Friends of the ABC and joining the revolutionaries in the June 1832 rebellion. He figures in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th parts of the novel.
