Leslie Cheung Kwok-wing was a Hong Kong singer and actor. He is often regarded as one of the most influential icon in modern Chinese history. Throughout a 26-year career from 1977 until his death, Cheung released over 40 music albums and acted in 56 films. He was one of the most prominent pioneers that shaped the identity of Cantopop during the 1980s and became known for his flamboyant, often outrageous stage appearance. Cheung then became an extremely successful actor in the 1990's, most famously recognized for his performance in the 1993 film Farewell My Concubine. His career was marked with praises due to his avant-garde take on the then-conservative film & music industry with portrayals of unique characters on film and androgynous on-stage persona.

It received widespread praise among critics and audiences for its acting and plot. It continues to remain one of the most popular TVB dramas and is often referenced as the first drama series that sparked the popularity for palace scheming dramas in Hong Kong such as Beyond the Realm of Conscience and Mainland Chinese dramas including Empresses in the Palace, Story of Yanxi Palace and Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace. In 2022, the drama was selected as one of ten classic TVB dramas being honoured for a new joint Youku and TVB programme. In 2022, Tang, Cheung, and Sheh reprised their roles for the Zhejiang Television, Youku, and TVB-produced variety show Memories Beyond Horizon.

Dayo Wong Tze-wah is a Hong Kong actor and standup comedian. Known as a pioneer of stand-up comedy in Hong Kong, he is known for his stadium shows integrating political satire and social commentary. Linda Chung Ka-yan is a Hong Kong-Canadian actress, singer and songwriter. She signed a long-term contract with TVB in 2004 after winning the Miss Chinese International. Chung ended her contract with TVB in early 2018.
The TVB Anniversary Awards, officially known as the TVB Awards Presentation, is an annual awards ceremony honouring TVB's programming achievements in Hong Kong television; despite claims that it is the region's equivalent to the American Emmy and the Australian Logie, no other networks are allowed to enter their programmes into TVB competition, and it is awarded solely to TVB programming. Winners are awarded a copy of the golden TVB anniversary statuette, which depicts a man and a woman holding up TVB's square logo. The TVB Anniversary Awards are only one of three TVB awards given out. The other two types of TVB awards that are given out before the anniversary awards are: TVB Star Awards Malaysia and StarHub TVB Awards (Singapore). The Drive of Life is a 2007 grand production drama by TVB and CCTV as a joint production. It was specially filmed to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the handover of Hong Kong back to China from Britain during the period of 1997-2007.
Return of the Cuckoo is a 20-episode TVB drama broadcast between July 2000 and August 2000. It was originally produced to be a sitcom, however later edits made the production into a regular drama.
When Heaven Burns is a 2011 Hong Kong television serial produced by TVB and starring Bowie Lam, Moses Chan, Kenny Wong, Charmaine Sheh and Angela Tong. First revealed during TVB's Sales Presentation 2009 in 2008, filming took place in late 2009 to early 2010, with the first episode airing both in Hong Kong and TVB's overseas affiliates and partners on 21 November 2011. On 27 December 2011, the show was blacklisted by the Chinese State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television, making it the first Hong Kong television drama to be censored in Mainland China in more than two decades.
Forensic Heroes III is a 2011 Hong Kong police procedural television drama produced by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB). It stars Wayne Lai, Maggie Cheung, Kate Tsui, Ron Ng, Aimee Chan, Edwin Siu, Nancy Wu & Ruco Chan in the reboot of the Forensic Heroes series, featuring new stories and characters. Mui Siu-ching, who also produced the original series, serves as the executive producer.

Line Walker is a 2014 Hong Kong crime thriller drama produced by TVB, starring Michael Miu, Charmaine Sheh and Raymond Lam as the main leads, with Sharon Chan, Benz Hui, Elena Kong, Sammy Sum, Oscar Leung and Toby Leung in major supporting roles. It is the first entry in the franchise.
Return of the Cuckoo is a 2015 Hong Kong-Chinese romantic melodrama film sequel to the series Return of the Cuckoo, a 20-episode TVB drama broadcast in 2000. The film is directed by Patrick Kong and starring original cast Julian Cheung, Charmaine Sheh and Nancy Sit. The film continues the story where the drama left off.
The StarHub TVB Awards is an awards ceremony held every year to recognise the achievements by Hong Kong television dramas and artists in Singapore. The awards are presented by StarHub, VV Drama, and E City, and are given for TVB productions and performances. The inaugural StarHub TVB Awards were held on 29 January 2010.
A Time of Love 2 is a 2016 Hong Kong romance, micro film, web drama produced by Chan Yuk-leung for TVB. The drama is the second installment of the A Time of Love series which first premiered on TVB Jade in 2014. Charmaine Sheh and Kenneth Ma are the only actors reprising their roles from the first series. Additional cast in the second series are Priscilla Wong, Pakho Chau, and Raymond Wong Ho-yin. The series is once again filmed in foreign countries, but unlike the first series, actors from other Pan Asian countries were not cast in the second series. Also different from the first series, the titles of each episode are not titled after themes or emotion but is simply titled by country. It is the first series to premier on TVB's new web-streaming online platform "myTV SUPER" on May 28, 2016. The series concluded on June 4, 2016 with a total of 2 episodes.
