Kirsi Boström is a Finnish orienteering competitor and World champion. She won the 1999 Classic distance World Orienteering Championships. She won a gold medal at the 1995 World Orienteering Championships in Detmold with the Finnish relay team. She received silver medals with the relay team in 1993 and in 1999 (Inverness).
Minna Kauppi is a Finnish orienteer, who was born in Asikkala and lives in Lahti. Kauppi is a nine-time World Champion, including five golds from relays. Kauppi anchored her Finnish club Asikkalan Raikas to a victory in the 2007 Venla relay.
Anne Margrethe Hausken Nordberg is a Norwegian orienteering competitor, World champion and European champion. She took the overall victory in the 2008 World Cup.

Merja Rantanen is a Finnish orienteering competitor. She received a silver medal in the middle distance at the 2008 European Orienteering Championships in Ventspils. She also participated on the Finnish team that achieved a bronze medal in the championship relay.
Tatiana Ryabkina is a Russian orienteering competitor. She won the O-Ringen in 2012 and has had significant international success.
Mats Haldin is a Finnish orienteering competitor and two times European champion with the Finnish relay team. He received a silver medal with the Finnish relay team at the 2003 World Orienteering Championships in Rapperswil/Jona, and again in 2006 in Aarhus. He received a bronze medal in relay at the 2007 World Championships in Kyiv. At the 2009 World Orienteering Championships in Miskolc he won a bronze medal in the relay, together with Topi Anjala and Tero Föhr.
Liisa Anttila is a Finnish orienteering and ski-orienteering competitor and world champion in both sports.
Mari Fasting is a Norwegian orienteering competitor and ski mountaineer. She is two times Junior World Orienteering Champion. She represents the club NTNUI of Trondheim, and is related to the ski mountaineer Ola Berger.

She is also a medalist from the Junior World Championships. Since 2006 she has been coached by Danish national coach Lars Lindstrøm. Alm is remarkable for her dominant running speed, which gives her a great advantage over other competitors at the sprint distance.

The full name of the club used to be Tampereen Kilpa-Veljet Ry (TK-V), but it was first changed to KOO-VEE ry and in 2010 to the form Koovee Ry. Koovee is one of the biggest sport clubs in Finland.
Päivi Tommola is a Finnish mountain bike orienteering competitor, World Champion and European Champion. She won individual gold medals at the 2002 and 2005 World Championships, and gold medals in the relay in 2002, 2004 and 2007.
Sari Anttonen is a Finnish orienteering competitor. At the 2016 World Orienteering Championships in Strömstad she won a bronze medal with the Finnish relay team, along with Marika Teini and Merja Rantanen.
