The J.K. Miller Homestead in Glacier National Park near Big Prairie, Montana, United States, was built in 1909. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The listing included three contributing buildings and one other contributing structure.
Eatons Corners Historic District is a national historic district located at Duanesburg in Schenectady County, New York. The district includes 11 contributing buildings on three properties. The properties are the Barlow Tavern, Brumley Homestead, and the Eaton Homestead. The three houses are two story frame buildings sheathed in clapboards. The Eaton Homestead was built about 1800 and Barlow Tavern in the 1820s; both are in the Federal style. The Brumley Homestead was built in the 1840s in the Greek Revival style.
The Keokuk County Courthouse located in Sigourney, Iowa, United States, was built in 1911. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981 as a part of the County Courthouses in Iowa Thematic Resource. In 1999 it was included as a contributing property in the Public Square Historic District. The courthouse is the fourth building the county has used for court functions and county administration.
The Homestead Farm at Oak Ridge is a historic house and grounds located in Oak Ridge Park in the township of Clark in Union County, New Jersey and extending into the township of Edison in Middlesex County. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 25, 1995, for its significance in architecture, exploration/settlement, law, military history, and politics/government. In addition to the building, the listing includes three contributing sites and one contributing object.
The Walter and Anna Zion Homestead near Idalia, Colorado dates from 1910. It includes sod house architecture. The main house, a "soddy," was built in 1910 by Walter Zion and others. The homestead was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. The listing included eight contributing buildings, two other contributing structures, and one contributing site in an 1.27-acre (0.51 ha) area.
The Bent County Courthouse and Jail, of Bent County, Colorado, at 725 Carson Ave. in Las Animas, was built in 1887. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976; the listing included two contributing buildings.
The Joseph Keck House, is a historic building located in Washington, Iowa, United States. Joseph Keck was a native of Pennsylvania who was trained as a carpenter and eventually became a banker. He married Elizabeth Jackson in 1844. Her family owned the property the house was built on. The Kecks lived in a small house that had been built here previously. Once he received the title to the land in 1855, Keck had this house built sometime in the mid to late 1850s. The two-story brick house is a well preserved, example of French mansard residential architecture. Other architectural styles represented in the house include the Gothic balustrade and vergeboard, the Greek Revival acroterion and finial, and the Italianate porch arcade. The house was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. In 2018 it was included as a contributing property in the West Side Residential Historic District.
Vance Lodge, near the North Fork of the Flathead River near Polebridge, Montana, was built in 1920. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
The William A. and Etta Baum Cottage is a historic building located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. Built in 1891, the 1½-story structure features a gable-end facade, brick foundation, and a small front porch with a gable-end roof. It is considered a good example of the gable-on-hip subtype of the Queen Anne cottage. There were only a few that were built with 1½-stories as most were two-stories. Its significance is based on how it demonstrates that a modest-sized dwelling can embrace the picturesque design. The cottage was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. It was included as a contributing property in the Polk County Homestead and Trust Company Addition Historic District in 2016.
The Dr. John B. and Anna M. Hatton House is a historic building located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. The house is significant for its suburban architecture in the former suburb of North Des Moines, especially the canted bay subtype of the Stick Style with Italianate influence. This 2½-story frame structure on a brick foundation features a hip roof with intersecting gables, a canted bay tower on the southeast corner, porches on the front and side, and a two-story bay window on the south elevation. The house was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. It was included as a contributing property in the Polk County Homestead and Trust Company Addition Historic District in 2016.
The Chaffee-Hunter House is a historic building located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. Built in 1886, the single family dwelling is named for its first two residents, Henry L. Chaffee and Edward H. Hunter who bought it from Chaffee in 1891. The house calls attention to Hunter who served as the local postmaster from 1894 to 1898. He conceived and implemented the idea of a streetcar-mounted collection box for the mail. It was later implemented in other cities in the country. The 2½-story frame Queen Anne structure features a gable-on-hip roof with intersecting gables, a brick foundation, wrap-around porch, and dormer windows. The house was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. It was included as a contributing property in the Polk County Homestead and Trust Company Addition Historic District in 2016.
The Polk County Homestead and Trust Company Addition Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Des Moines, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016. At the time of its nomination the district consisted of 86 resources, including 48 contributing buildings, 11 contributing structures, 18 non-contributing buildings, and nine non-contributing structures. The end of the 19th-century saw the rise of the Victorian suburbs around Des Moines. This was a period of economic growth for the metropolitan area. The largest of these suburbs was North Des Moines. It was connected to Des Moines by way of three streetcar lines, whiched added to its attractiveness. Local real estate investors established the Polk County Homestead & Trust Co. to develop the northern portion of North Des Moines in partnership with the Prospect Park Improvement Company.
The Wurtz Homestead, located on North Fork Road, 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Ford in the Flathead National Forest, near Polebridge, Montana, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. The listing included three contributing buildings. It is located in the valley of the North Fork Flathead River, just 7 miles (11 km) south of the Canada border.
The Mitchell-Estes Farmstead, in Edmonson and Warren counties near Smiths Grove, Kentucky is a historic site which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. The listing included two contributing buildings and a contributing site on 94 acres (38 ha).
The Aguayo Family Homestead, near Nogal, New Mexico, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.
The West Side Residential Historic District is a nationally recognized historic district located in Washington, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. At the time it was studied for the State of Iowa it contained 255 resources, which included 184 contributing buildings, one contributing site, one contributing structure, one contributing object, and 68 non-contributing buildings. Some of the numbers could be adjusted up for the National Register nomination as the park required further study. The historic district is a residential neighborhood on the west side of town with houses that were built from the 1850s to the 1960s. The oldest house in the district was constructed in 1856, and eight of the houses were built after 1969, the cut-off year for inclusion as a contributing property. All of the houses are single family dwellings, and most of them are frame construction. Nine of the houses are brick or stucco. They range in height from single-story to two-story structures. The district is noteworthy for its large collection of Victorian styles from the 1880s to the 1900s, but there are also a number of American Foursquare, American Craftsman, and bungalows in the neighborhood as well. The Joseph Keck House and the Frank Stewart House (1894) are individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
