Keshari Devi Patel is an Indian politician. She was elected to the Lok Sabha, lower house of the Parliament of India from Phulpur, Uttar Pradesh in the 2019 Indian general election as a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. [1] [2] [3] Earlier, she had lost 2004 Lok Sabha election from Phulpur and 2014 Lok Sabha election from Prayagraj as a Bahujan Samaj Party candidate. Later she joined BJP.

Personal life

Keshari Devi was born to Hanuman Das Singh and Dhanpati Devi on 1 January 1957 in Dabwa Khandeha village of Chitrakoot district, Uttar Pradesh. She did her Masters of Arts post graduation in from Awadhesh Pratap Singh University in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. She married Gulab Singh on 17 February 1973, with whom she has three sons. [4]

Sanjaya Sinh, also known as Sanjay Singh, is an Indian politician and a former member of the Rajya Sabha. He was twice elected to the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh during the 1980s and held state ministerial posts. In 1990, he became a member of the upper house of the Parliament of India, which is known as the Rajya Sabha, and in 1998 he was elected to the lower house, called the Lok Sabha. Ajay Rai is an Indian politician and a member of the Indian National Congress since 2012. He is a five-time MLA from Uttar Pradesh. He is the current Uttar Pradesh Congress chief.

Anju Bala is an Indian politician who has been a Member of Lok Sabha for the Misrikh constituency since the 2014 Indian general election. Bala entered active politics in 2010 and was elected the Block Pramukh (president) of Mallawan. Three years later, she joined the Bharatiya Janata Party and was elected to the Lok Sabha the following year. She is a postgraduate in Hindi and Sanskrit. Ritesh Pandey is an Indian politician serving as the Member of Parliament from Ambedkar Nagar constituency. He is a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) from the state of Uttar Pradesh. He was also a MLA from Jalalpur constituency in Ambedkar Nagar district, which he represented between June 2017 and May 2019 before elected as MP in. He was appointed the Leader of the BSP in the Lok Sabha in January 2020. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Deputy Leader.

Praveen Kumar Nishad is an Indian politician and a member of Bharatiya Janata Party. He is a member of Lok Sabha from Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh since 2019 elections. He is the son of Dr. Sanjay Nishad, founder of the NISHAD Party. He is an engineer with a degree from Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow.

2019 Rajya Sabha elections were held throughout 2019, to fill the vacancies in the Rajya Sabha, the Indian Parliament's upper chamber. The elections were held to elect 2 members from Assam as well as 6 members from Tamil Nadu. By-elections were held for 14 seats among various states.

Sangeeta Azad is an Indian politician. She is elected to the Lok Sabha, lower house of the Parliament of India from Lalganj, in Uttar Pradesh in the 2019 Indian general election as a member of the Bahujan Samaj Party.
