Kevin Kane (born July 20, 1988) is an American actor, director and producer.
Kane was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and graduated from the William Esper Studio in New York City. [2] Kane made his screen debut appearing in a small part in the 2000 drama film, Swimming and later made guest appearances on Law & Order , One Life to Live and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit . He is one of founding members of The Collective NY, a New York-based stage production company. [3] With one of the members, Amy Schumer, Kane produced the Comedy Central sketch comedy series, Inside Amy Schumer from 2013 to 2022, receiving Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Scripted Variety Series in 2015. [4] He also made 20-episodes recurring appearance on Inside Amy Schumer playing various roles and directed two episodes during the final season. Kane also appeared opposite Schumer in her 2015 romantic comedy film, Trainwreck .
Kane produced Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo (2015), Amy Schumer: The Leather Special (2017), Snatched (2017), I Feel Pretty (2018), Amy Schumer: Growing (2019), Expecting Amy (2020), and Life & Beth (2022–). Kane appeared in films The Rainbow Experiment (2018), Lez Bomb (2018) and The Irishman (2019). On television he guest-starred on White Collar , Blue Bloods , No Activity and FBI: Most Wanted . He had the recurring roles on Chicago P.D. in 2016, and Bonding in 2018. [1] He played four different guest-starring roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit , before was cast as Detective Terry Bruno for season 24 and season 25. [9] [10] [11]

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit is an American police procedural crime drama television series created by Dick Wolf for NBC. The first spin-off of Law & Order, it starred Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler until Meloni left the series in 2011 after 12 seasons, and Mariska Hargitay as Detective Olivia Benson, now the commanding officer of the Special Victims Unit after originally having been Stabler's partner in a fictionalized version of the New York City Police Department. Meloni has since reprised his role as Stabler in the spin-off series Law & Order: Organized Crime (2021–present). Law & Order: Special Victims Unit follows the style of the original Law & Order in that some episodes are loosely based on real crimes that have received media attention.

John Munch was a fictional character played by actor Richard Belzer. Munch first appeared on the American crime drama television series Homicide: Life on the Street on NBC. A regular through the entire run of the series from 1993 to 1999, Munch is a cynical detective in the Baltimore Police Department's Homicide unit, and a firm believer in conspiracy theories.
