Kilimanjaro Live Group is a group of companies that work in the fields of music and comedy, [1] based in the United Kingdom. They are one of the largest event promoters in the UK.

They own and operate Kew The Music, Live At Chelsea, Tartan Heart Festival, Stone Free Festival, Sonisphere Festival, Wakestock Festival and Warped Tour (Europe only). [2] [3] [4]

In 2014 Kilimanjaro's customer event listings website Kililive.com became MyTicket.co.uk in line with German parent company website Myticket.de. [10]

Festivals

Kew The Music

Kew The Music is a collaboration between Kilimanjaro Live, Raymond Gubbay Ltd and the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. Kilimanjaro has run the festival on the world heritage site since 2015. [11]

Tartan Heart - Belladrum

2018 saw Kilimanjaro acquire Belladrum festival in Scotland. The well-established music and arts festival, held on the Belladrum Estate near Inverness, in Scotland. It is normally held at the start of August. Founded in 2004, the festival has rapidly grown in popularity. The festival has sold out in advance every year since 2008. [12]

Sonisphere Festival

Sonisphere was a rock/metal touring festival taking place across Europe between June and August. The festival was created in 2009 by Kilimanjaro Live and John Jackson. [13] It was jointly promoted by Kilimanjaro Live and K2. The festival has hosted heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Slayer, Alice Cooper and Megadeth.

Wakestock Festival

Wakestock was Europe's largest wakeboard music festival, combining the cultures of music and wakeboarding. [14] It was held on the Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales, in between Pwllheli and Llanbedrog.

Vans Warped Tour UK

Warped Tour was created in 1994 by Kevin Lyman and became sponsored by Vans Skateboards in 1995. The music/sports festival toured the US for many years before Kilimanjaro Live licensed the European operations of Warped Tour in 2012,2013,2014. [15] In the United Kingdom, Warped Tour is hosted at Alexandra Palace in North London.

Secondary ticketing court case

The online ticket marketplace Viagogo are taking Kilimanjaro to court in Germany over concerns over cancellations of tickets they resold for Ed Sheeran's 2018 UK tour. [16]

Relentless is the brand name of an energy drink created in February 2006 by the Coca-Cola Company. In the year ending 2010, sales of the product in the UK increased by 28 percent. After a deal on 14 August 2014 seeing Coca-Cola purchase a 16.7% stake in Monster Energy, the ownership of the Relentless brand was transferred to Monster Energy and Monster Energy's non-energy brands transferred to Coca-Cola.

Scuzz was a British 24-hour rock and metal music television channel owned and operated by Sony Pictures Television. It was launched on 17 April 2003 and went on to be the highest-rated rock TV station on the Sky satellite platform, available in over 12 million homes in the UK and Ireland. The channel was abruptly closed on 15 November 2018.

Taste of Chaos was a live music tour that was started in the winter of 2005 by Kevin Lyman, the creator of the successful Warped Tour along with his friend and business partner, John Reese. The Taste Of Chaos tour catered to fans of the post-hardcore, emo, pop punk and metalcore genres, while offering the same low ticket price and festival-style format as the Warped Tour. In 2007, each of the seven bands playing the entire tour was a Warped Tour veteran: five had played the 2006 Warped Tour and two had played TOC previously.

Viagogo, stylized by the company as viagogo, is a multinational ticket exchange and ticket resale brand. It is headquartered in the United States and has been owned by StubHub Holdings since 2021. It was founded in London in 2006 by Eric Baker as an online marketplace for consumers to buy and sell tickets to sports, music, theatre and comedy events.

Gallows are an English hardcore punk band from Watford, Hertfordshire. The band was formed in 2005 after Laurent Barnard's previous band disbanded. Gallows' debut album, Orchestra of Wolves, was distributed in the United States by Epitaph Records, and they were subsequently signed to Warner Bros. Records for a £1 million album contract and recorded Grey Britain. The band has been particularly successful in the UK, with two songs charting on the UK Single Charts, and have been featured in magazines such as Kerrang!, Alternative Press and Rolling Stone.

It was jointly promoted by K2 and Kilimanjaro Live. It hosted heavy metal bands such as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Slayer, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Avenged Sevenfold and Babymetal.

There Is a Hell... Tour was a concert tour by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon, taking place during 2010–2011, in support of their third studio album There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven Let's Keep It a Secret.

The Defiled were a four-piece British band from London mixing groove-laden hardcore/metal with industrial music influences. They have been described by Kerrang! magazine as "The saviours of UK Metal" and championed by Metal Hammer as one of the leaders in a new wave of British metal along with bands such as While She Sleeps, Bury Tomorrow and Devil Sold His Soul. The band have built a fanbase following support slots with bands such as Murderdolls, Static-X, Godsmack, Deathstars and Motionless in White as well as playing Bloodstock, Download and Sonisphere festivals.

Stuart Galbraith is a British live music event promoter. He is the founder of Kilimanjaro Live Group, one of the United Kingdom's largest event promoters.

The Babymetal World Tour 2014 was the first worldwide concert tour by Japanese band Babymetal. Supporting their eponymous debut album, the tour ran from 23 June 2014 to 20 December 2014, taking place in Japan, the United States, Canada, and several countries in Europe.
