Kimberly Kimble more commonly called Kim Kimble (born December 24, 1971) [1] is a celebrity American hair stylist originally from Chicago, Illinois. [2] She is most recognized for her starring role work on WE tv's L.A. Hair. [3] Currently, she is the head of the hair department of HBO television series Euphoria. [4] Some of her celebrity clientele include Beyoncé, [5] [6] Brandy Norwood, Kelly Rowland, Nicki Minaj, Mary J. Blige, Halle Berry, [2] Shakira, [7] and Zendaya. [8]

Early life

As a child, Kimble played with cut-out magazine pictures and paper dolls. [6] Kimble stated, "I was into fashion and beauty and showing my creative side from the age of 2 or 3. Because my mom worked all the time, I was alone a lot but I want to say that I'm so glad for that because I knew at a young age what I wanted to do." [6] After finishing beauty school, she worked at her mother's salon. Kimble is a third generation hair stylist in her family. [9] [10]

Career

Kimble's celebrity hair-styling career started when she worked with Halle Berry on B*A*P*S [10] [11] She has had her techniques and innovative stylings featured internationally in Vanity Fair , Essence , Glamour , and Vogue . [9]

In 2012, Kimble began filming the reality television series L.A. Hair . The show debuted May 31, 2012, and ended on March 9, 2017.

Starting in Season 2 of HBO television series, Euphoria , Kimble became head of the hair department. [12]

The Rachel haircut, commonly known as simply "The Rachel", is an eponymous hairstyle popularized by American actress Jennifer Aniston. Named after Rachel Green, the character she played on the American sitcom Friends (1994–2004), Aniston debuted the haircut during the show's first season, and continued to wear it throughout its second season while the series was nearing peak popularity. What Not to Wear is an American makeover reality television series based on the British show of the same name. The show premiered on January 18, 2003 and ended on October 18, 2013, airing on TLC in the United States. WE tv announced in October 2012 that the series had been renewed for a ten episode second season, which debuted on June 6, 2013. WE tv has ordered a 12-episode third season that premiered on May 22, 2014. On March 3, 2015 WE tv renewed the show for a fourth season that premiered in July 2015. The fifth season of L.A. Hair premiered on January 5, 2017.

Mia Jackson, known professionally as Tokyo Stylez, is a transgender hairstylist and wigmaker originally from Omaha, Nebraska. she is best known for her appearances on E!'s Keeping up with the Kardashians and Life of Kylie as Kylie Jenner’s personal hairstylist. Her best known work includes the hair styling in Solange's "Don't Touch My Hair" and Janelle Monáe's hair in "Pynk". Nelms is known for using non-traditional materials and bold silhouettes in her styling.

Frederic Aspiras is a Vietnamese-Filipino-American wigmaker and hairstylist. He was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Makeup and Hairstyling for the film House of Gucci.
