Lake George Battlefield Park Historic District is a national historic district relating to the French and Indian War Battle of Lake George and located near Lake George in Warren County, New York. The parkland was purchased and developed by New York State between 1896 and 1965. It encompasses numerous significant archaeological sites related to a series of conflicts dated from about 1755 to 1814. The archaeological sites include those related to Fort George (1759), earthen trenches (1757-1758), and barracks and hospitals dated to the 1750s. The historic districts also includes a number of plaques and monuments including those commemorating Henry Knox (1925), the Bloody Morning Scout (1935), Fr. Isaac Jogues (1939), King Hendrick Theyanoguin and General William Johnson. Other contributing features relate to the property's development as a park and include the battlefield park and battlefield campground, Fort George Road, the Delaware and Hudson Railway right of way (c. 1880), the Dowling Farmhouse (c. 1870), and the maintenance complex (c. 1890-c. 1920s). Ferry Farm, also known as the George Washington Boyhood Home Site or the Ferry Farm Site, is the farm and home where George Washington spent much of his childhood. The site is located in Stafford County, Virginia, along the northern bank of the Rappahannock River, across from the city of Fredericksburg. In July 2008, archaeologists announced that they had found remains of the boyhood home, which had suffered a fire during 1740, including artifacts such as pieces of a cream-colored tea set probably belonging to George's mother, Mary Ball Washington. In 2015, the George Washington Foundation began constructing a replica of Washington's boyhood home on the site of the original building. The replica house was completed in 2018 and is open to the public.

The Evergreens is a campground on Ferry Street in Solon, Maine, on the banks of the Kennebec River. The property has a documented archaeological history, with evidence of human habitation dating back thousands of years. It is also known that the military expedition of Benedict Arnold camped in this area in 1775 while en route to Quebec City in the American Revolutionary War. The property has had formal excavations by the Maine State Museum, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Old Wadena Historic District is a concentration of historical archaeology sites now largely contained within Old Wadena County Park in Thomastown Township, Minnesota, United States. Features include the sites of four successive trading posts established in 1782, 1792, 1825, and 1856; the original townsite of Wadena on the Red River Trails; and the county's first farm. The town was later moved 3.5 miles (5.6 km) south to its present location. The historic district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973 for having state-level significance in the themes of agriculture, non-aboriginal archaeology, and transportation. It was nominated for its archaeological potential at the seminal site of Euro-American activity in Wadena County, Minnesota.
