Lane Burroughs is an American college baseball coach, currently serving as head coach of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs baseball program. [1] He was previously the head coach at Northwestern State, named to that position prior to the 2013 season. [2] [3] [4] [5]

Burroughs played for two seasons at Meridian Community College while earning an associate degree, then completed his eligibility and bachelor's at Mississippi College. While completing a master's degree at Mississippi College, he served as a graduate assistant coach with the Choctaws, then served for one season at East Mississippi Community College and one season at Northwestern State as an assistant coach. Burroughs then worked for eight years at Southern Miss, where he helped lead the Golden Eagles to six NCAA Regional appearances. He served in a variety of roles: third base coach, hitting coach, infielders coach, and recruiting coordinator. He then moved to Kansas State for one season, during which the Wildcats reached the 2008 Big 12 Tournament final. Burroughs accepted an assistant coaching position at Mississippi State, where he remained for four seasons before being named to his first head coaching position at Northwestern State in June 2012. Mitch Gaspard is an American college baseball coach and former second baseman. He is the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator at Louisiana Tech University. Gaspard played college baseball at Louisiana State University from 1984 to 1985 before transferring to the University of Houston where he played from 1986 to 1987. He is the former head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team. Gaspard agreed to a 3-year contract on September 1, 2009, starting in 2010. The 2010 season was Gaspard's first season as the head coach of the Crimson Tide. He had been on the Alabama coaching staff for ten years, and was given the head coaching position when Jim Wells retired. He resigned from Alabama on May 30, 2016.

James Edward Carmody Jr. was a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Southern Mississippi from 1982 to 1987, compiling a career record of 37–29. Carmody's 1982 Golden Eagles team went into Bryant–Denny Stadium defeated Bear Bryant's Alabama team that had won 56 consecutive home games entering the contest. Carmody also served as an assistant coach at Mississippi State University, the University of Mississippi and the University of North Carolina.
