"Latest Trends" is the debut single by UK Drill duo A1 x J1. It was originally previewed in late 2020 before being officially released on 4 February 2021. It later found viral popularity on TikTok [1] before reaching a peak of number two on the UK Singles Chart in March 2021 after being remixed with a version featuring Aitch [2] or a version with A Boogie wit da Hoodie.

Composition

The song has been described by GRM Daily as having "a feel-good vibe with its upbeat, guitar-based production" as well as "clever lyrics including pop culture references and Instagram caption worthy lines". [1] The duo also contribute "smooth vocals from A1 on the chorus and his verse" before "J1 comes through with clever wordplay and bars". [3]

"Blueberry Faygo" is a song by American rapper Lil Mosey. The song was made and leaked in 2019, when multiple imposters uploaded bootleg versions of the song on Spotify, racking up millions of streams, before being removed. The song's release was delayed due to a sample clearance agreement, and was eventually released on February 7, 2020, by Mogul Vision Music and Interscope Records. It was released concurrently with the reissue of Lil Mosey's second studio album Certified Hitmaker (2019), which the single appears on. It is Mosey's most successful song to date, peaking at number 8 on the US Billboard Hot 100, and is his only top 10 entry on the chart. On February 26, 2022, about two years after its release, it surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. The song's title refers to Faygo, a brand of soft drinks. The song has since come to be regarded as Lil Mosey's signature song.

The original single was released independently in November 2019 under Rax Productions, which S1mba is signed to. Rax Productions was founded by S1mba and manager Rapheal Adekunle. The song went viral on video-sharing app TikTok and was then re-released on the Rax Collective and the Parlophone (Warner) label in March 2020. Since then it achieved a UK BPI certified 2x Platinum status with over 1,200,000 units. The song charted and achieved certifications in many countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Greece, the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, and Ireland. While a student at Manurewa High School, in South Auckland, New Zealand, he made his breakthrough with the 2020 siren jam single "Savage Love " in collaboration with American R&B singer Jason Derulo. BTS made a remix to the song which reached number one in over 15 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

A1 x J1 are a British hip hop duo. They released their debut single "Latest Trends" in February 2021, which charted at number 2 in the UK and was remixed by Aitch and A Boogie wit da Hoodie. Their second single "Baby" featured British singer and rapper Deno. They were also featured on the deluxe edition of KSI's album All Over the Place, and on the debut single by British rapper SwitchOTR, as well as recording a song for the Plugged In series by Fumez the Engineer.

It features guest appearances from Aitch, Lola Young, Russ Millions, Tion Wayne, Bugzy Malone, Fivio Foreign, E1 (3x3), ZT (3x3), Buni, Darkoo and Digga D. The reissue adds appearances from Black Sherif and Kyla.

Jacob Dodge Lawson, known professionally as Jvke, is an American singer-songwriter, producer, and social media personality. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, he started creating TikTok videos for his songs, one of which, "Upside Down", went viral in 2021 with it being used in over 14 million TikTok videos. His debut album, This Is What ____ Feels Like (2022), peaked at number 40 on the Billboard 200, while the song "Golden Hour" peaked at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
