The Rawls College of Business is the business school of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Rawls Business offers curriculum for both undergraduate and graduate students and received its initial business accreditation in 1958 from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Established in 1942, Texas Tech's business school was originally known as the Division of Commerce. In 1956, the school was renamed the College of Business Administration. Alison Davis-Blake is an American academic administrator. She served as the eighth president of Bentley University. Before Bentley, she served as dean of the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and of the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Thomas W. Gilligan is an American economist who was the Tad and Dianne Taube Director of the Hoover Institution at Stanford University from 2015 to 2020. Prior to taking over as head of the Stanford-based think tank, he served as dean of the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. Gilligan previously held a variety of positions at the University of Southern California from 1987 until 2008.

Wanda M. Austin is a former president and CEO of The Aerospace Corporation. She was both the first woman, and the first African-American, to hold this position. The Dell Medical School is the graduate medical school of The University of Texas at Austin in Austin, Texas. T3 was a Certified Woman-Owned Business from 1999 - 2019, and through the T3 and Under program, Gaddis has been a pioneer in allowing parents to bring their newborn children into the office as a means by which to improve their transition to daycare. She currently serves as CEO of Gay Gaddis, LLC, empowering the next generation of business leaders through a women's development program she founded at the McCombs School of Business at University of Texas entitled Women Who Mean Business. She is an active speaker on women’s leadership, company culture and entrepreneurship. Her book, Cowgirl Power: How to Kick Ass in Business and Life, was released in January 2018, sharing insights and examples how to develop personal power and lead like a fearless cowgirl.
William H. Cunningham is an American academic administrator, a university faculty member and a business executive. He served as the 24th president of the University of Texas at Austin from 1985 to 1992. He served as the seventh chancellor of the 15-campus University of Texas System from 1992 to 2000. He holds the James L. Bayless Chair for Free Enterprise at UT Austin's McCombs School of Business, and he is a director of Southwest Airlines. and other companies.
