Rajshahi is a metropolitan city and a major urban, administrative, commercial and educational centre of Bangladesh. It is also the administrative seat of the eponymous division and district. Located on the north bank of the Padma River, near the Bangladesh–India border, the city is surrounded by the satellite towns of Nowhata and Katakhali, which together build an urban agglomeration of about 1 million population. Notre Dame College, Dhaka, also known as NDC, is a higher secondary and degree level educational institution founded and managed by the priests of the Congregation of Holy Cross located in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Upon the invitation of the then East Pakistan government after the partition of India, St. Gregory's College was founded on November 3, 1949, as an expanded iteration of St. Gregory's High School in Laxmibazar, Dhaka. This was undertaken by the Roman Catholic priest community at the initiative of Archbishop Lawrence Graner and the decision of the Congregation of Holy Cross. In 1954, the college relocated to Arambagh near Kamalapur railway station under the jurisdiction of the Motijheel Thana, and was dedicated to Mary, the mother of Jesus Christ, being named Notre Dame College. The French phrase "Notre Dame" signifies Our Lady, yet Notre Dame College has remained an all-boys institution since its establishment.

Adamjee Cantonment College also known as ACC is an educational institution in Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The institution was established in 1960 following the ideology of originally renowned public schools of England – Eton and Harrow. It is managed by Bangladesh Army and primarily for the children of Army personnel. But students from the civilian section can also study in this college.

Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir is an Islamic student organization based in Bangladesh. It was established on 06 February 1977. The organisation is generally understood to be the student wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, and several of the leaders of the student organisation have gone on to become notable leaders within Jamaat. The organisation has a significant presence in higher educational institutions of the country such as University of Dhaka, University of Chittagong, Rajshahi University, SUST, BUET, DUET, Medical College. Recently however, the student Organisation has been under pressure from the Bangladesh government led by the ruling party Awami League and its student wing, the Bangladesh Chhatra League.

Dhanmondi Tutorial (DT) is a private, English-medium school in the Dhanmondi residential area of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was founded in 1972. As of 2016, it teaches approximately 1500 students from kindergarten through A Levels. Classes are divided into a junior and a senior section, each of which has its own campus.

BAF Shaheen College is the general name of several civilian secondary and higher secondary educational institutions run by the Bangladesh Air Force. These educational institutions are located in different air bases of BAF.

Motijheel is a central business district and a thana of Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is Dhaka's primary Central Business District and also the nation's largest commercial and financial hub. Hazaribagh is a Thana of Dhaka District in the Division of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Hazaribagh is part of Old Town, Dhaka, Bangladesh. 95% of Bangladesh's tanneries, which is where animal skins are processed to make leather, were located in or around Hazaribagh before they moved to Hemayatpur, Savar. In Hazaribagh, traditional establishments, culture, language and food can be found in daily life practices. Owing to its location near Buriganga River, Hazaribagh shares significant history as well. It is one of the most densely populated places on earth, though it is criticised for its low living standards.

BAF Shaheen College Dhaka also known as BAFSD or Dhaka Shaheen is a co-educational Bangladeshi college established and controlled by the Bangladesh Air Force and primarily for the children of Air Force personnel, but students from the civilian section can also study at the college.

Naolamari is a village in Khaskarara Union, Alamdanga Upazila, Chuadanga District, Bangladesh. The village has a population of 1,432 people.

Shantinagar is an upscale neighbourhood located in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. It is under Paltan Thana. Shantinagar is administered by Dhaka South City Corporation. It is also one of the busiest areas in Dhaka. Its neighbouring areas are Bailey Road, Segunbagicha, Paltan, Rajarbagh and Kakrail. Numerous shops, pharmacies, restaurants and salons can be found in Shantinagar. Eastern Plus Shopping Complex is also located in Shantinagar which is a well-known place for shopping around the locality.

Sunamganj-3 is a constituency represented in the Jatiya Sangsad of Bangladesh since 2008 by M. A. Mannan of the Awami League.

Farid Uddin Chowdhury is a teacher, politician and businessman. He was the former Member of Parliament for the Sylhet-5 constituency from 2001 to 2008, representing the Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami party.
