In late January 2023, A Love Story was pushed back from March 29 to April 12. [73] [74] Shortly thereafter in early February 2023, Apaches: Gang of Paris was pushed back from February 22 to March 29, Loving Memories from March 22 to April 5, Alma Viva from March 29 to April 12 and The Lost Boys a week from May 3 to the 10th, while Serial Driver was brought forward from April 26 to March 29. [75] Initially set to release on April 5, 2023, Juniors was pushed back first to the fall, then back forward to 26 July. [76] Streams was pushed back a couple of weeks from April 12 to April 26. In late February, Dogman was pushed back from April 19 to September 27 following enthusiastic reception from international distributors at the European Film Market, in order to premiere at a film festival before a worldwide release. [77] In early March, Summer Frost was pushed back from 22 March to an indeterminate Summer 2023 date, [78] set in late April to 26 July. [79] Visions was moved forward three weeks from the 27th to the 6th of September, while La Petite was pushed back one week from 13 September to the 20th. [80] In late March, Summer Scars was pushed back one week from 26 April to 3 May. [81] In early April, Stars at Noon was moved back six weeks from 3 May to 14 June [82] and The Hummingbird almost three months from 10 May to 2 August. [83] Also set to release on 10 May, Parisian Hustle was pushed back indefinitely. Later in April, Tropic was retitled and pushed back over a month from 14 June to 19 July, before being pushed further to 2 August. [76] In mid-May, Le Pacte moved The Peace and Love Process back one week from 7 June to 14 June. [84] On the first of June, Last Summer was moved forward one week from 20 to 13 September. [85] A few days later, Small, Slow but Steady was brought forward two and a half months from 15 November to 30 August. [86] In mid-June, The Damned Don't Cry was pushed back two weeks from 12 to 26 July while Paint It Gold was brought forward one week from 16 to 9 August. [87]

French cinema consists of the film industry and its film productions, whether made within the nation of France or by French film production companies abroad. It is the oldest and largest precursor of national cinemas in Europe; with primary influence also on the creation of national cinemas in Asia.
French Fried Vacation 3 is a 2006 French comedy film, and the sequel to Les Bronzés (1978) and Les Bronzés font du ski (1979). Like the first two films, it is directed by Patrice Leconte and stars mostly members of the theatrical/film troupe Le Splendid. Les Bronzés 3: Amis pour la vie follows up on the revelers from the first two films, now in their 50s.
Father & Soldier is a 2022 French-Senegalese war-drama film directed and co-written by Mathieu Vadepied, starring Omar Sy, Alassane Diong, and Jonas Bloquet. It was produced by Omar Sy and Bruno Nahon. The film opened the Un Certain Regard section in competition at the 75th Cannes Film Festival on 18 May 2022, and was released in theaters in France by Gaumont on 4 January 2023, and in Senegal by Pathé BC Afrique on 6 January 2023.
The Five Devils is a 2022 French fantasy drama film directed by Léa Mysius, who co-wrote the screenplay with Paul Guilhaume. The film stars Adèle Exarchopoulos and Sally Dramé. It premiered in the Directors' Fortnight section of the Cannes Film Festival on 23 May 2022. It was released in France on 31 August 2022.
The Beast is a 2023 science fiction romantic drama film directed and written by Bertrand Bonello from a story he co-wrote with Guillaume Bréaud and Benjamin Charbit. It is loosely based on Henry James's 1903 novella The Beast in the Jungle. It stars Léa Seydoux and George MacKay, with Guslagie Malanda and Dasha Nekrasova in supporting roles.
Little Girl Blue is a 2023 biographical docudrama film written and directed by Mona Achache based on the life of her mother, the writer and photographer Carole Achache, starring Marion Cotillard as Carole Achache and Mona Achache as herself. The film is a co-production between France and Belgium and had its world premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival in the Special Screenings section on 21 May 2023, where it competed for the Golden Eye and was well received by critics. The title comes from the song of the same name written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart. The film was released theatrically in France by Tandem on 15 November 2023, and in Belgium by Galeries Distribution on 3 April 2024.

The Good Teacher is a 2024 drama film directed by Teddy Lussi-Modeste from a screenplay he co-wrote with Audrey Diwan inspired by a true story that happened to the director in 2020, starring François Civil as a high school teacher who is wrongfully accused of sexual harassment by one of his students, a teenage girl, and must fight to prove his innocence. The film is a co-production between France and Belgium and had its world premiere at the Ramdam Festival in Belgium on 18 January 2024. It was released theatrically in France by Ad Vitam on 27 March 2024, and in Belgium by Cinéart on 3 April 2024.
Rosalie is a 2023 historical drama film directed by Stéphanie Di Giusto from a screenplay by Di Giusto and Sandrine Le Coustumer, based on a treatment by Le Coustumer and Alexandra Echkenazi.
