This is a list of players who have appeared in 400 or more games in Major League Soccer , the top flight men's soccer league of the United States and Canada, dating back to its inaugural season in 1996. This list does not include appearances in the MLS Cup Playoffs.

Kyle Robert Beckerman is an American former professional soccer player who played as a midfielder. He spent 21 seasons in Major League Soccer (MLS) with the Miami Fusion (2000–2001), Colorado Rapids (2002–2007) and Real Salt Lake (2007–2020). He was a starting central defensive midfielder and captain when RSL won MLS Cup 2009. He also earned 58 caps with the United States national team.

Generation Adidas is a joint venture between Major League Soccer and U.S. Soccer aimed at raising the level of young professional soccer talent in the United States. The program, sponsored by Adidas, offers professional-ready players in the U.S. developmental system not yet eligible for the MLS SuperDraft early entry, allowing MLS to compete with foreign professional clubs without comparable restrictions on player signing. From its establishment in 1997 to 2005, the program was sponsored by Nike and was called Project-40. Originally intended to improve the U.S. national team player pool, American national team eligibility is no longer required for program entry.

Kevin Eugene Hartman is an American former soccer player who played 17 seasons in Major League Soccer, being on the field for a record 37,260 minutes. Nicknamed El Gato because of his agility, reflexes, physical qualities, and shot-stopping ability, Hartman has more saves than any other goalkeeper in MLS history, and was the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year in 1999. Considered to be one of the greatest and most successful goalkeepers in MLS history, he was also known for his longevity.

Christopher Elliott Wondolowski is an American former professional soccer player who played as a forward. He was MLS's top scorer in the 2010 and 2012 seasons, also being named the 2012 Most Valuable Player, and was one of the top strikers during his time playing in Major League Soccer. With 171 goals in Major League Soccer, he is the highest scorer in the competition's history, as well as the only player in league history to score 150 or more regular-season goals.

Shaun Higgins is a professional soccer agent and a retired American soccer player. He is currently President and CEO of PRO Football Consultants, a firm he founded that represents professional soccer players in the United States, Europe, and Mexico.

This list comprises all players who have participated in at least one league match for New England Revolution since the team's first Major League Soccer season in 1996. Players who were on the roster but never played a first team game are not listed; players who appeared for the team in other competitions but never actually made an MLS appearance are noted at the bottom of the page.

The Major League Soccer Player of Month is a monthly soccer award given to players in Major League Soccer. The honor is given to the player deemed to have had the best cumulative performance in each month by a panel of journalists from the North American Soccer Reporters organization. The award was formerly voted on by the Professional Soccer Reporters Association.

36 is a sports documentary television show that airs on NBCSN and TSN. The show is a 36-hour documentary series following a specific athlete, such as Patrick Kane. The show typically airs before the spotlighted player competes on the NBC Sports Network. The show is akin to HBO 24/7. On March 14, 2012, 36 expanded to have an episode about Zab Judah calling the show, Fight Night 36. Meanwhile, a 36 episode about IndyCar Series with Tony Kanaan first aired on April 1, 2012. MLS 36 debuted August 5, 2012 following Major League Soccer player Chris Wondolowski during the 2012 MLS All-Star Game. F1 36 debuted on March 29, 2013 featuring Formula One champion Sebastian Vettel.

The 2015 Major League Soccer All-Star Game, the 20th annual Major League Soccer All-Star Game, took place on July 29, 2015 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in the Denver suburb of Commerce City, Colorado, the home of the Colorado Rapids. The game was televised live on Fox Sports 1 and UniMás in the United States, and TSN and RDS in Canada.

The 2018 MLS Expansion Draft was a special draft for the Major League Soccer expansion team FC Cincinnati that was held on December 11, 2018. Lists of protected rosters and draft-eligible players were released by MLS on December 10, 2018.

The 2008 North American SuperLiga final was a soccer match played on August 6, 2008, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts in the United States. The match determined the winner of the 2008 North American SuperLiga, the second edition of the North American SuperLiga, which was a tournament contested by teams from Major League Soccer and Liga MX. In the 2008 edition, the top four teams from each league qualified based on their point totals at the end of the previous season. The New England Revolution and the Houston Dynamo played the match, and it was a rematch of the 2006 and 2007 MLS Cup finals, which were both won by the Dynamo. The final took place in front of 9,232 supporters and was refereed by Howard Webb from England.
