Christopher James Goulding is an Australian professional basketball player for Melbourne United of the National Basketball League (NBL). He made his debut in the NBL in 2006 as a development player with the Brisbane Bullets, going on to play for the Perth Wildcats and Gold Coast Blaze, before settling in Melbourne. In the NBL, Goulding is a three-time championship winner and a two-time All-NBL First Team honouree. He also won the league's scoring title in 2014 and claimed Grand Final MVP honours in 2018. Goulding is a regular with the Australian Boomers, but he also holds a British passport thanks to his father, which allowed him to play as a local in Spain and Italy between 2014 and 2016.

Casey Prather is an American professional basketball player for the Brisbane Bullets of the National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball for the Florida Gators before playing professionally in the NBA Development League, Australia, Germany, Greece and Israel. He won three straight NBL championships between 2016 and 2018, the first two with the Perth Wildcats and the third with Melbourne United. He joined Hapoel Eilat in 2020 and was named as the Israeli League MVP in 2021, but missed the 2021–22 and 2022–23 seasons with knee injuries.

Cameron Richard Gliddon is an Australian professional basketball player for the New Zealand Breakers of the National Basketball League (NBL). He is also contracted with the Auckland Tuatara of the New Zealand National Basketball League (NZNBL). He played four years of college basketball for Concordia University before returning to Australia and joining the Cairns Taipans, where he won the NBL Rookie of the Year Award in 2013. After six seasons with the Taipans, he joined the Brisbane Bullets, where he played two seasons before playing two seasons for the South East Melbourne Phoenix. In 2022, he joined the Breakers.

Angus John Brandt is an Australian professional basketball player for the Shinshu Brave Warriors of the Japanese B.League. He played college basketball for Oregon State University before beginning his professional career with the Sydney Kings in 2014. After two seasons with the Kings, he joined the Perth Wildcats, where he won two NBL championships in three years. He has also had stints in Lithuania, New Zealand and Italy.

With the Melbourne Tigers joining the competition, the league's number of teams increased to 17, with nine teams in the Eastern Division and eight teams in the Western Division.
