Martina Hingis is a Swiss former professional tennis player. She is the first Swiss player, male or female, to win a Grand Slam and attain a No. 1 ranking. She spent a total of 209 weeks as the singles world No. 1 and 90 weeks as doubles world No. 1, holding both No. 1 rankings simultaneously for 29 weeks. She won 5 Grand Slam singles titles, 13 Grand Slam women's doubles titles, winning a calendar-year women's doubles Grand Slam in 1998, and 7 Grand Slam mixed doubles titles, for a combined total of 25 major titles. In addition, she won the season-ending WTA Finals two times in singles and three times in doubles, an Olympic silver medal, and a record 17 Tier I singles titles.
Anastasia Andreyevna Myskina is a former professional tennis player. She won the 2004 French Open singles title, becoming the first Russian female tennis player to win a Grand Slam singles title. Subsequent to this victory, she rose to No. 3 in the WTA rankings, becoming the first Russian female tennis player to reach the top 3 in the history of the rankings. In September 2004, she reached a career-high ranking of No. 2. She has not retired officially, but has been inactive on the WTA Tour since May 2007.

Her best results as a professional came at the 2016 French Open and the 2020 US Open where she reached the quarterfinals.
Ashleigh Barty is an Australian professional tennis player and former cricketer. She is ranked No. 1 in the world in singles by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) and is the second Australian WTA singles No. 1 after fellow Indigenous Australian Evonne Goolagong Cawley. She has also been a top-ten player in doubles, having achieved a career-high ranking of No. 5 in the world. Barty is a three-time Grand Slam singles champion, and the reigning champion at Wimbledon and the Australian Open. She is also a Grand Slam doubles champion, having won the 2018 US Open with CoCo Vandeweghe. Barty has won 15 singles titles and 12 doubles titles on the WTA Tour.

Naomi Osaka is a Japanese professional tennis player. She has been ranked No. 1 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) and is the first Asian player to hold the top ranking in singles. She is a four-time Grand Slam singles champion. Her seven titles on the WTA Tour also include two at the Premier Mandatory level. At the 2018 US Open and the 2019 Australian Open, Osaka won her first two Grand Slam singles titles in back-to-back Grand Slam tournaments. Danielle Rose Collins is an American professional tennis player. She reached a career-high ranking of world No. 10 in singles on January 31, 2022, and No. 86 in doubles on March 2, 2020. Collins has won two WTA Tour singles titles, at the 2021 Palermo Open and the 2021 Silicon Valley Classic. She reached her first major singles final at the 2022 Australian Open.
Mayar Sherif Ahmed Abdel-Aziz is an Egyptian tennis player. She is the younger sister of Rana Sherif Ahmed. She has career-high WTA rankings of world No. 64 in singles and 115 in doubles, both achieved on 31 January 2022. Sherif has won one singles title on the WTA Challenger Tour. She has also won nine singles titles and six doubles titles on the ITF Circuit.
Dayana Oleksandrívna Yastremska is a Ukrainian professional tennis player. She has a career-high Women's Tennis Association (WTA) ranking of No. 21 in the world. Yastremska has won three WTA titles in five finals appearances.
Iga Natalia Świątek is a Polish professional tennis player. She is the youngest player in the top ten of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings, and has a career-high ranking of No. 4 in the world. Świątek was the champion at the 2020 French Open and is the first Polish player to win a Grand Slam singles title. With her French Open title, she also became the youngest singles champion at the tournament since Rafael Nadal in 2005, and the youngest women's singles champion at a major since Maria Sharapova at Wimbledon 2004.
Leylah Annie Fernandez is a Canadian professional tennis player. She has a career-high ranking of No. 19 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), achieved on 7 February 2022. Fernandez won her first WTA Tour title at the 2021 Monterrey Open. As a 19-year-old, she finished runner-up at the 2021 US Open to fellow teenager Emma Raducanu, defeating three top-5 players en route to the final.
