This is a list of Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) managers, in order of the date of their appointment. The SPFL has 42 member clubs and is split into four divisions; the Premiership (12 clubs), the Championship (10), League One (10), and League Two (10).

His only other professional club was Dundee United, where he played between 2003 and 2007 before rejoining Thistle. Archibald also played five times for the Scotland national under-21 team.

Barry Smith is a Scottish football coach and former player, who was most recently the manager of Scottish League Two club Elgin City. As a player, Smith played in the right back, centre back, and defensive midfielder roles for Celtic, Dundee, Valur, Partick Thistle, Greenock Morton and Brechin City. Smith was admitted into Dundee's Hall of Fame having made 400 appearances for the club.

Scott Fox is a Scottish professional goalkeeper who is a free agent. He has previously played for Celtic, East Fife, Queen of the South, Dundee, Ross County, Partick Thistle, Greenock Morton, Motherwell and Cove Rangers. Fox was selected by Scotland National Football Team manager Gordon Strachan to be part of the national squad to face Norway in 2013.

The 2012–13 season was Partick Thistle's seventh consecutive season in the Scottish First Division, having been promoted from the Scottish Second Division at the end of the 2005–06 season. Partick Thistle also competed in the Challenge Cup, League Cup and the Scottish Cup.

The 2012–13 season was the club's 104th season, having been founded as Dundee Hibernian in 1909 and their 15th consecutive season in the Scottish Premier League, having competed in it since its inauguration in 1998–99. United also competed in the Europa League, League Cup and the Scottish Cup.

Robbie Muirhead is a Scottish professional footballer, who plays as a forward for Livingston on a pre-contract from Greenock Morton.

The 2014–15 season is Motherwell's thirtieth consecutive season in the top flight of Scottish football and the second in the newly established Scottish Premiership, having been promoted from the Scottish First Division at the end of the 1984–85 season. Motherwell will also compete in the Europa League, League Cup and the Scottish Cup.

The 2019–20 season was Partick Thistle's second consecutive season in the Scottish Championship, having been relegated from the Scottish Premiership at the end of the 2017–18 season. Partick Thistle also competed in the League Cup, the Scottish Challenge Cup and the Scottish Cup. On 15 April, the SPFL voted to end the lower leagues in Scottish football due to the coronavirus pandemic and as a result Partick were relegated to League One after two years in the Championship, which the club decided not to take legal action against.

The 2018–19 season was Partick Thistle's first season back in the Scottish Championship, following their relegation from the Scottish Premiership at the end of the 2017–18 season. Thistle also competed in the League Cup, Challenge Cup and the Scottish Cup.

The 2021–22 Scottish Premiership was the ninth season of the Scottish Premiership, the highest division of Scottish football, and the 125th edition overall of the top national league competition, not including one cancelled due to World War II. Celtic claimed the league trophy back after an outstanding run with a 1–1 draw with Dundee United on 11 May enough to confirm them as champions.

The 2022–23 Scottish Premiership was the tenth season of the Scottish Premiership, the highest division of Scottish football, and the 126th edition overall of the top national league competition, not including one cancelled due to World War II. The season began on 30 July 2022.

The 2022–23 season was the 126th season of competitive football in Scotland. The domestic season began on 9 July 2022 with the first Scottish League Cup group stage matches, and the first round of matches in the 2022–23 Scottish Premiership were played on 30 July.

The 2022–23 Scottish Championship was the tenth season of the Scottish Championship, the second tier of Scottish football.
