Grammy Award for Best New Artist

The Grammy Award for Best New Artist has been awarded since 1959. Years reflect the year in which the Grammy Awards were handed out, for records released in the previous year. The award was not presented in 1967. The official guidelines are as follows: "For a new artist who releases, during the Eligibility Year, the first recording which establishes the public identity of that artist." Note that this is not necessarily the first album released by an artist; for example, Shelby Lynne won the award in 2001 after having already released six albums over 13 years.

Toots and the Maytals Jamaican musical group

The Maytals, known from 1972 to 2020 as Toots and the Maytals, are a Jamaican musical group, one of the best known ska and rocksteady vocal groups. The Maytals were formed in the early 1960s and were key figures in popularizing reggae music.

Tiger Lou

Swedish band Tiger Lou was formed in Nyköping 2001 by Rasmus Kellerman. After several EPs, the first full-length album Is My Head Still On? was released in 2004 and was followed in 2005 with The Loyal. Rasmus Kellerman is also known as Araki.

Electric Feel

"Electric Feel" is a song by the American rock band MGMT, released as the second single from their debut studio album Oracular Spectacular (2007) on June 23, 2008. The single was released as a 7" and CD single, and later on 12" vinyl. "Electric Feel" was released to radio on July 29, 2008. The song's second video features The Rock-afire Explosion. The song is primarily in 6/4 time, with an instrumental bridge in 4/4.

Ricky Kej Indian composer

Ricky Kej is a multi-Grammy Award-winning Indian music composer and environmentalist. He has performed at venues in over 30 countries including at the United Nations headquarters in New York and Geneva. Kej was named a UNCCD Land Ambassador at the COP14 to raise public awareness about the challenges of land degradation, desertification and drought. Kej also serves as a UNESCO - MGIEP "Global Ambassador for Kindness", UNICEF Celebrity Supporter, and is an ambassador for the Earth Day Network. In 2020, Kej was named as a GQ Hero 2020 by GQ magazine.

Wouter Kellerman is a Grammy Award-winning South African flautist, producer and composer who has won eight South African Music Awards. Using his classical training as a foundation, Kellerman has focused his attention on World and Roots music, exploring the versatility of the instrument and fusing classical and contemporary sounds.

P. A. Deepak

P.A.Deepak is a mix engineer and record producer. He won the 2010 Grammy Award for the "Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media" for the movie Slumdog Millionaire.

Kali Uchis American singer

Karly-Marina Loaiza, known professionally as Kali Uchis, is an American singer. She released her debut mixtape, Drunken Babble, in 2012, which was followed by her debut EP, Por Vida, released in 2015. In 2018, Uchis released her debut studio album Isolation to widespread acclaim. Uchis's second studio album and her first Spanish language project, Sin Miedo , was released in 2020. The album spawned the single "Telepatía", which became Uchis' first solo charting hit on the US Billboard Hot 100. She won a Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for her feature on Kaytranada's single "10%".

The 21st Annual South African Music Awards were announced during a gala event at Sun City's Super Bowl arena in the North West province on Sunday night, 19 April 2015. It was branded as #SAMAXXI, where XXI represents the Roman numerals for 21.

Erwilian

Erwilian is an American musical group featuring acoustic instrumentation, led by soprano recorder, violin, and hammered dulcimer. The group blends elements from celtic, world, and folk music into an original cross-genre style classified as New Age. Since its formation in 2000, the group has featured various multi-instrumentalists in its lineup. Current members and primary instruments include founders Scott Melton (guitar) and Jordan Buetow (recorders), Bethel Melton, Malcolm Lee (bass), Matt Garcia (harp), John Hintze (percussion), and Keely Rendle (violin).

Robert Eibach Musical artist

Robert Eibach is an American, Latin Grammy Award nominated artist, producer, recording engineer, musician, DJ and remixer. Eibach is a band member and one of the producers on The Lucky Band album Paseo Lunar, which was nominated for a 2020 Latin Grammy Award in the Children's category. He worked on Winds of Samsara by Ricky Kej and Wouter Kellerman, which won a Grammy® Award for Best New Age Album. Also, Eibach contributed his work on Wouter Kellerman's 2015 album Love Language, which earned a Grammy® Nomination for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. In 2015, Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band earned a Latin Grammy Award nomination for their children's album Adelante, which Eibach was an engineer on. Eibach contributed Billboard charting remixes for Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson, Camila Cabello, Jennifer Lopez among others. He is performing as the DJ on tour with David Longoria in support of Longoria's album The Journey and song We Are One. In 2019, The Lucky Band won the Latin Grammy Award for Best Children's Album with Buenos Diaz, which included Robert Eibach remixes. Eibach's first single as the main recording artist, Play With You, was released on August 21, 2020.

Charan Raj is an Indian composer and singer known for his work in Kannada cinema. For his work in Jeerjimbe (2016), he was awarded the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director.

SEAY American singer

SEAY is an American award-winning New-age music artist and humanitarian who has gained prominence as both a vocalist and composer. She has released multiple recordings, many of which have received awards and nominations. Her 2016 release In the Garden featuring collaborations with Grammy Award winners Ricky Kej and Wouter Kellerman charted on the Billboard New Age albums chart for five weeks peaking at #3 and won the Zone Music Reporter best vocal album of the year.

Gianluca Buccellati, also known as Luca, is a Grammy-nominated American record producer, songwriter, mixing engineer, audio engineer, and multi-instrumentalist. He has worked alongside artists including Lana Del Rey, Arlo Parks, Tei Shi, Overcoats, Biig Piig, Sophie Meiers, The Marias, Cailin Russo, Hazel English, HMLTD and Tender. Buccellati largely wrote and produced Arlo Park's critically acclaimed debut album Collapsed in Sunbeams, which peaked at No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart, won the 2021 Mercury Prize and was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards as well as for the Album of the Year at the 41st Brit Awards.
