Sir Oswald Stoll was an Australian-born British theatre manager and the co-founder of the Stoll Moss Group theatre company. He also owned Cricklewood Studios and film production company Stoll Pictures, which was one of the leading British studios of the Silent era. In 1912, he founded the Royal Variety Performance a now-annual charity show which benefits the Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund.

The Four Feathers is a 1921 British silent war film directed by René Plaissetty and starring Harry Ham, Mary Massart and Henry Vibart. The film is an adaptation of A. E. W. Mason's 1902 novel of the same name. The film was made on location and at Cricklewood Studios by Stoll Pictures, at the time the largest British film studio. It was the second film version of the story, following a 1915 American film. The film was shot on location in North Africa. It was reasonably successful on its release.

The Great Gay Road is a 1931 British drama film directed by Sinclair Hill and starring Stewart Rome, Frank Stanmore and Kate Cutler.

Money Isn't Everything is a 1925 British silent romance film directed by Thomas Bentley and starring Olive Sloane, Lewis Gilbert and Gladys Hamer. The film was made at Cricklewood Studios by Stoll Pictures, and was based on a novel by Sophie Cole.

Chappy—That's All is a 1924 British silent drama film directed by Thomas Bentley and starring Joyce Dearsley, Gertrude McCoy and Lewis Gilbert. It was based on a novel by Oliver Sandys. It was made at Stoll Pictures' Cricklewood Studios.

The Gold Cure is a 1925 British silent comedy film directed by W. P. Kellino and starring Queenie Thomas, Gladys Hamer and Jameson Thomas. It was made by Stoll Pictures at Cricklewood Studios.

George Clark (1888-1946) was a British film actor and film producer during the silent era. For many years Clark worked with the British star Guy Newall, whom he had met during the First World War. Together they founded Lucky Cat Films and later George Clark Productions, securing a distribution arrangement with the larger Stoll Pictures.

Surbiton Studios were a British film studio located in Surbiton, then on the outskirts of London. The studio was one of several opened during the boom in British production following the First World War. It was opened in 1918 and its first film was released in January 1919. Its owners were Stoll Pictures which became one of the largest British film company of the early 1920s.

Astra Films was a British film production and distribution company of the silent era. It was set up in Leeds following the First World War by the film director Herbert Wilcox, his younger brother Charles Wilcox and H.W. Thompson, a leading figure in film distribution in the North of England. After the company's initial success, Wilcox left the firm to set up on his own and rose to become one of the most successful independent producer-directors in the world. After a merger the company released films under the name Astra-National.

Innocent is a 1921 British silent drama film directed by Maurice Elvey and starring Madge Stuart, Basil Rathbone and Edward O'Neill. The film marked the screen debut of Rathbone, with his casting as a villainous figure pointing towards the sort of roles he would play in later British and Hollywood films. The film was made by Stoll Pictures, Britain's leading film company of the era, at Cricklewood Studios.

The Conspirators is a 1924 British silent crime film directed by Sinclair Hill and starring Betty Faire, David Hawthorne and Moore Marriott.

Expiation is a 1922 British silent crime film directed by Sinclair Hill and starring Ivy Close, Fred Raynham and Lionelle Howard. It was based on an 1887 novel by E. Phillips Oppenheim. The film was made by Stoll Pictures at the Cricklewood Studios.
