Walt Disney's Disneyland episodes

The original incarnation of the anthology series was conceived as a means to fund development and construction of Disneyland, the television program originally focused on and highlighted the original four lands of the park. [1] [2] [3]

This show had two versions one in mono and one in stereo.
The stereo version presented a preview of Sleeping Beauty in the second half of the show, was touted as the first television broadcast in widescreen and stereophonic sound. To create the illusion of a theater stereo system, the viewer would place an AM and FM radio on either side of their television set while the stations played the sound;
Not all TV markets could make use of this presentation so a second version of the show was also produced exclusively in mono. This version of the show included some additional animation footage in place of the instructions on how to set up the stereo set.

Professor Ludwig Von Drake is a cartoon character created in 1961 by The Walt Disney Company. He is the paternal uncle of Donald Duck. He was first introduced as the presenter in the cartoon An Adventure in Color, part of the first episode of Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color on NBC. According to the episode The Hunting Instinct of that series he and Donald Duck's father are brothers. He is described as a scientist, lecturer, psychologist, and world traveler. The character displayed his "expert" knowledge on a variety of subjects in eighteen episodes of the classic anthology series, as well as on a number of Disneyland Records.

In 1993, he was posthumously made a Disney Legend for his contributions to Walt Disney films.

Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers is an American animated adventure comedy television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. Created by Tad Stones and Alan Zaslove, it featured established Disney characters Chip 'n' Dale in a new setting. The series premiered on The Disney Channel on March 4, 1989, after the episode "Catteries Not Included" aired on August 27, 1988, as a preview. The series continued in September with a two-hour special, Rescue Rangers: To the Rescue, later divided into five parts to air as part of the weekday run. The final episode aired on November 19, 1990.

Mickey Mouse Disco is an album released by Disneyland Records in 1979. A late entry in the genre of disco, Mickey Mouse Disco included disco versions of Disney songs and Disney-fied versions of disco hits. The album was re-released on CD in 1995, and later as a download. On April 13, 2019, the original LP was reissued for the annual Record Store Day.

D-TV is an old series of music videos created by The Walt Disney Company and produced by Charles Braverman and edited by Ted Herrmann. The series premiered on May 5, 1984, by taking hit songs of the past and putting them together with various footage of vintage Disney animation, created out of the trend of music videos on cable channel MTV, which inspired the name of this series.

The Mickey Mouse Revue was an indoor audio-animatronic stage show at the Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland theme parks. It was one of the three original opening day attractions in Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland in 1971. After closing at Magic Kingdom in 1980, it was moved to Tokyo Disneyland for that park's opening in 1983 where it remained for 26 years before closing permanently in 2009.

"The Spectrum Song" was written by the Sherman Brothers in 1961 under assignment from Walt Disney to be a signature song for the fictional character Ludwig Von Drake. Nominally about different colors in the spectrum, the song's lyrics initially consist of the repeated color names red, yellow, green and blue, but soon veer wildly off into cerise, chartreuse, ultramarine and plaid.

<i>Davy Crockett</i> (miniseries) American television series

Davy Crockett was a five-part serial which aired on ABC from 1954–55 in one-hour episodes, on the Disneyland series. The series starred Fess Parker as real-life frontiersman Davy Crockett and Buddy Ebsen as his friend, George Russell. The first three and last two episodes were respectively edited into the theatrical films Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier and Davy Crockett and the River Pirates (1956). This series and film are known for the catchy theme song, "The Ballad of Davy Crockett".

"An Adventure in Color/Mathmagicland" is the first color episode of Disney's long-running anthology series to air in color. It premiered on September 24, 1961, as Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color following the series' move from ABC to NBC. This show introduced a new character, Ludwig Von Drake, who provides an interesting lowdown on color. By the end of the song, the NBC Peacock makes a brief cameo as a "color show-off". The kaleidoscopic intro to the show featured music composed by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman. The second part of the show is the 1959 featurette Donald in Mathmagic Land.

The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse is an American animated television series produced by Disney Television Animation for Disney+. The series is a continuation and revival of the Emmy Award-winning 2013 Mickey Mouse shorts, uses the same style, and has many of the same cast and crew, with the exception of the late Russi Taylor, who was replaced by Kaitlyn Robrock in the role of Minnie Mouse. The series premiered on November 18, 2020 to coincide with Mickey's 92nd birthday. The animation is provided by Mercury Filmworks.

<i>Goofy</i> (film series) American animated short film series

Goofy is a series of American animated comedy short films produced by Walt Disney Productions. The series started in 1939 with Goofy and Wilbur and ended in 1953 with How to Sleep. An additional short, How to Hook Up Your Home Theater, was released in 2007. The series stars the titular character Goofy, introduced in the short film series Mickey Mouse as one of Mickey's friends.
