Embassy of Indonesia, Athens

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Athens is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the Hellenic Republic (Greece). Diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Greece were established since the opening of the Indonesian embassy in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, which was accredited to Greece. The Indonesian embassy in Athens opened on 5 January 1994 with Sunyoto Pamungkas as the first Indonesian ambassador to Greece. The current ambassador, Ferry Adamhar, was appointed by President Joko Widodo on 18 May 2017.

Ruşen Eşref Ünaydın was a Turkish linguist, politician, journalist, diplomat, writer and author. He was a member of the commission involved in introducing the modern Turkish alphabet. he was appointed ambassador to Albania (1934), Hungary (1939-1943), Italy (1943–1944), the United Kingdom (1944–1945). and Greece (1945-1952).
