The Yeshurun Central Synagogue was the first synagogue to be built in Gedera, Israel during the time of the Biluim, forerunners of the kibbutz movement 1882 from the Russian Empire. Before the synagogue was built, the first settlers used a shack as a synagogue. The synagogue was built on the same exact spot.
The Dizengoff Center suicide bombing was a Palestinian terrorist attack on March 4, 1996 on the eve of the Jewish holiday of Purim. The suicide bomber blew himself up outside Dizengoff Center in downtown Tel Aviv, killing 13 Israelis and wounding 130 more. The attack was the fourth suicide bombing in Israel in nine days, bringing the death toll during that span to over 60.
Highway 46 is a short highway in central Israel. The road, just 4 km long, was created in order to bypass the portion of Highway 40 that crosses the aviation industrial zone near Ben Gurion International Airport, a section of road that suffers from heavy traffic.

Nahal Alexander, called NaharIskandar in Arabic, is a river in the States of Palestine and Israel that flows from the western side of the Samaria mountain belt in the West Bank to the Mediterranean Sea, north of Netanya. The length of the river is about 45 km. Several small streams flow into Nahal Alexander: Nablus, Te'enim, Ometz, Bahan, and Avihail. The river is the habitat of soft-shell turtles that can reach a size of 1.20 meters.
