This is a list of bus companies in Indonesia .
In Indonesia, long-distance buses are categorized into 2 types, namely "intercity bus within the province" (Indonesian : Antarkota Dalam Provinsi or AKDP) and "intercity interprovince bus" (Antarkota Antarprovinsi or AKAP). [1]
Bandung is the capital city of the West Java province of Indonesia. Located on the island of Java, Greater Bandung is the country's second-largest and most populous metropolitan area, with over 11 million inhabitants. Situated 768 meters above sea level, approximately 140 kilometres southeast of Jakarta, Bandung has cooler year-round temperatures than most other Indonesian cities. The city lies in a river basin surrounded by volcanic mountains that provide a natural defence system, which was the primary reason for the Dutch East Indies government's plan to move the capital from Batavia to Bandung. Greater Bandung is also the ninth-largest economy in ASEAN, after Greater Hanoi.
Pulo Gebang Bus Terminal is a type-A bus terminal at Cakung, in East Jakarta, Indonesia, which is arguably the largest of its kind in Southeast Asia. The terminal was opened on 28 December 2016. Designed by Paul Tanjung Tan, this terminal is built to replace the unfeasible Pulo Gadung terminal and providing a comfortable, safe, and well-accessible transportation service. Buses to and from Central & East Java usually use this terminal.
Perusahaan Umum Pengangkutan Penumpang Djakarta was an Indonesian statutory corporation that moves in the transportation sector, specifically land transportation in Jakarta and areas around. It is known that Perum PPD operates approximately 494 single buses and 59 articulated buses for TransJakarta. Perum PPD is also known to operate JA Connexion, JR Connexion and Transjabodetabek routes serving Jakarta's suburban area and Trans Sarbagita in Denpasar, Bali.
Bintaro Jaya is a planned township located in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia. It is developed by PT Jaya Real Property Tbk. The development of the township began within South Jakarta in 1979 and is expanded further to South Tangerang in Banten province. The township is built as a satellite city for Jakarta, with a total land area of about 1000 hectares. The name Bintaro is derived from the Bintaro Village, which also takes the name of Bintaro plant, whereas Jaya came from the name of the developer.
DAMRI Public Corporation is an Indonesian state-owned bus operator. Under further development as a public company, the name DAMRI is still used as a brand mark of this state-owned company that still carries out passenger and cargo transport using buses and trucks.
TransJakarta Corridor 8 is the TransJakarta bus rapid transit corridor that serves from Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta to the Pasar Baru BRT station in Central Jakarta. It traverses along Pasar Jumat, Ciputat Raya, TB Simatupang, Metro Pondok Indah, Arteri Pondok Indah, Teuku Nyak Arif, Letjen Supeno, Panjang, Daan Mogot, Letjen S. Parman, Tomang Raya, Balikpapan, Suryopranoto, Ir. Hj. Djuanda, and Pos streets, and terminates at Pasar Baru. Then continues via Gedung Kesenian, Lapangan Banteng Utama, and Katedral streets towards Lebak Bulus. This corridor is integrated with KRL Commuterline at Kebayoran railway station which serves the Rangkasbitung Line via the Pasar Kebayoran Lama BRT station, Tangerang Line at Pesing railway station via Indosiar BRT station, and Bogor Line at Juanda railway station via Juanda BRT station. This corridor is also integrated with the Jakarta MRT at Lebak Bulus Grab station via Lebak Bulus BRT station.
Trans Semarang is a bus transit system in Semarang City and (partly) Semarang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia. The service is aim to break down congestion in Semarang and to accommodate commuters to the city center and tourist destinations in the city. One that distinguishes Trans Semarang from other city bus services is its high-deck fleet so that service users use special shelters.
Tegalluar station is a high-speed railway station located on Cibiru Hilir, Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia. Despite its name, this station is not located in Tegalluar village, but in the northeast of the village. The station, which is located at an altitude of +52,203 meters, only serves the KCIC Whoosh Jakarta-Bandung HSR route.
The TransJakarta Corridor 9 is a bus rapid transit corridor in Jakarta, Indonesia, operated by TransJakarta. The corridor connects the Pinang Ranti bus terminal in East Jakarta with the Pluit BRT station in North Jakarta. The roads traversed by corridor 9 are: Jalan Pondok Gede Raya, Jagorawi Toll Road, Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Jalan Letjen M.T. Haryono, Jalan Jend. Gatot Subroto, Jalan Letjen S. Parman, Jalan Satria/Prof. Dr. Makaliwe, Jalan Prof. Dr. Latumeten, Jalan Jembatan Tiga, and Jalan Pluit Putri/Putra. Corridor 9 is integrated with the KAI Commuter Bogor Line service at the Cikoko BRT station that connects to the Cawang railway station and the Tangerang Line at Kali Grogol BRT station that connects to the Grogol railway station. Corridor 9 is also integrated with Jabodebek LRT from Cawang to Pancoran BRT stations.
The TransJakarta Corridor 5 is a bus rapid transit corridor in Jakarta, Indonesia, operated by TransJakarta. The corridor connects Ancol, North Jakarta with the Kampung Melayu Bus Terminal in Jatinegara, East Jakarta. The roads that passed by corridor 5 are Jalan Gunung Sahari, Jalan Pasar Senen, Jalan Kramat Raya, Jalan Salemba Raya, Jalan Matraman Raya, Jalan Jatinegara Barat/Timur and arrive at Kampung Melayu Terminal. From Pademangan to Pasar Jatinegara BRT stations, several stations are close to KRL Commuterline stations.
The TransJakarta Corridor 7 is a bus rapid transit corridor in East Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia, operated by TransJakarta. It connects the Kampung Rambutan Bus Terminal in Ciracas to the Kampung Melayu Bus Terminal in Jatinegara. The streets that passed by corridor 7 are Gedong Timur/Barat, Raya Bogor, Mayjen Sutoyo, MT Haryono, and Otto Iskandardinata streets. This corridor is the only TransJakarta corridor that is not integrated with the KRL Commuterline system, because the distance between the Kampung Melayu station and the nearest Commuterline station, Tebet, is quite far.
The TransJakarta Corridor 11 is a bus rapid transit corridor in East Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia, operated by TransJakarta. It connects the Pulo Gebang Bus Terminal in Cakung, with the Kampung Melayu Bus Terminal in Jatinegara. The streets that passed by corridor 11 are Sentra Primer Timur, Dr. Sumarno, Penggilingan, I Gusti Ngurah Rai, Bekasi Barat/Timur, and Jatinegara Barat/Timur streets. Starting from the Stasiun Jatinegara BRT station to the Penggilingan overpass, this corridor is adjacent and integrated with KRL Commuterline on the Cikarang Loop Line route via Jatinegara, Klender, Buaran, and Cakung stations.
Blok M Terminal is a type-B bus terminal located within the commercial and entertainment quarter of Blok M in Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta, Indonesia. It only serves city transport buses that connects several regions in Jakarta and its surrounding cities. The terminal primarily serves TransJakarta's BRT corridors and feeder routes. Perum DAMRI also operates numbers of shuttle bus services from the Soekarno–Hatta International Airport and several gated communities in Greater Jakarta to Blok M terminal. Apart from DAMRI, Mayasari Bakti and Sinar Jaya also operates their bus routes to this terminal.
The TransJakarta Corridor 12 is the TransJakarta bus rapid transit route that serves from the Pluit BRT station to the Tanjung Priok BRT station. The streets that passed by corridor 12 are along Pluit Putri/Putra, Pluit Timur, Pluit Selatan, Jembatan Tiga, Bandengan Selatan, Gedong Panjang, Kopi, Tiang Bendera 5, Roa Malaka Utara, Tiang Bendera, Kunir, Lada Dalam, Bank, Kali Besar Barat, Jembatan Batu, Mangga Dua, Gunung Sahari, Angkasa, HBR Motik, Danau Sunter Barat, Danau Sunter Utara, Mitra Sunter Boulevard, Danau Sunter Selatan Dalam, Yos Sudarso, and Enggano streets. This corridor is integrated with Jakarta Kota Station at the Kota BRT station, Kampung Bandan Station at ITC Mangga Dua BRT station, and also the Tanjung Priuk railway station at the Tanjung Priok BRT station.
The TransJakarta Corridor 2 is a bus rapid transit corridor in Jakarta, Indonesia, operated by TransJakarta. It connects the Pulo Gadung Bus Terminal in East Jakarta to the Monumen Nasional BRT Station in Central Jakarta. The streets that passed by corridor 2 are along Perintis Kemerdekaan, Letjen Suprapto, Imam Sapi'i.e., Kwini II, Abdul Rahman Saleh, Pejambon, Medan Merdeka Timur, Perwira, Katedral, Ir. H. Djuanda, Veteran III, and Medan Merdeka Utara streets, and terminates at Monas. For the opposite the direction, the route passes Medan Merdeka Barat, Medan Merdeka Selatan, and Kwitang Raya streets, then continues at Letjen Suprapto street towards Pulo Gadung. This corridor is integrated with the Pasar Senen railway station, which serves the KRL Commuterline and the intercity train services via Pasar Senen BRT station and the Juanda railway station, which serves KRL Commuterline service only via Juanda BRT station.
The TransJakarta Corridor 4 is a bus rapid transit corridor in Jakarta, Indonesia, operated by TransJakarta. It serves the route from the Pulo Gadung Bus Terminal to the Galunggung BRT station in Dukuh Atas TOD. The roads that passed by corridor 4 are Bekasi Raya, Pemuda, Pramuka, Tambak, Sultan Agung, and Galunggung. This route is integrated with the KAI Commuter Cikarang Loop Line at Sudirman Station via Galunggung BRT station, and Manggarai Station which also serves the Bogor Line, Cikarang Loop Line, and the Airport Rail Link routes via the Manggarai BRT station. KRL Commuterline users who want to go to Rawamangun and Pulo Gadung can alight at Sudirman Station and continue their trip from Galunggung, Manggarai, or Pasar Genjing BRT stations. This corridor has been integrated with the Jakarta LRT at the Velodrome LRT station via the Pemuda Rawamangun BRT station.
Trans Semanggi Suroboyo, simplify TSS is an urban bus transit system in Surabaya metropolitan area of East Java, Indonesia. The entire system is using buy-the-service scheme Teman Bus initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation. The system was officially opened on 29 December 2021, making it the tenth city in Indonesia to implement the scheme. The bus fleet procurement is conducted by the Ministry of Transportation, while its operational management is handled by third-party companies such as PT Seduluran Bus Suroboyo and state-owned bus company Perum DAMRI.
Trans Metro Pasundan, simplify TMP is a transit bus system in the Bandung metropolitan area, West Java, Indonesia. This service is part of the Teman Bus Buy-the-Service (BTS) purchasing program initiated by the Directorate General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation. The system began operation on 21 December 2021, with its inauguration six days later. TMP is operated by the state-owned Perum DAMRI and Big Bird, a subsidiary of Blue Bird Group.
TransJakarta Corridor 14 is a bus rapid transit corridor in Jakarta, Indonesia, operated by TransJakarta. It serves the route from the Pasar Senen BRT station to the Jakarta International Stadium. The streets that passed by corridor 14 are along Imam Sapi'ie, Letjen Suprapto, Tanah Tinggi Barat/Timur, Utan Panjang Barat/Timur, Kemayoran Gempol, Benyamin Sueb, HBR Motik, and Danau Sunter Barat streets.
