The North Ings Farm Museum is a working farm museum containing a 2 ft narrow gauge railway, running on a circuit of 14 mile (0.40 km). It is located at Dorrington, between Lincoln and Sleaford, in Lincolnshire. The museum includes agricultural machinery and tractors, commercial vehicles, portable steam pumps and a fairground organ. The collection was opened to the public in 1990.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">West Lancashire Light Railway</span>

The West Lancashire Light Railway (WLLR) is a 2 ft narrow gauge railway that operates at Hesketh Bank, situated between Preston and Southport in North West England. The distance between the stations on the railway is 430 yards (393 m), though track extends eastwards beyond Delph station on ledge above the old clay pit which is too narrow to contain a run round loop. An extension of up to 435 metres (1,427 ft), running along the north bank of the fishing lake has been proposed. The railway has seven steam locomotives, three of which are in operating condition; two are currently being rebuilt and another is on static display. There are also two electric locomotives and many IC locomotives.

The Bowaters Paper Railway was a 2 ft 6 in narrow gauge industrial railway running from Sittingbourne to Ridham Dock on The Swale in the county of Kent. It had the distinction of being the last steam-operated industrial narrow gauge railway in Britain when it closed in 1969. Part of the system still operates as the Sittingbourne & Kemsley Light Railway.

The Knebworth and Winter Green Railway was a 1 ft 11+12 in narrow gauge railway built in the grounds of Knebworth House in 1972 as a tourist attraction.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">British Rail Class 01/5</span>

The British Rail Class 01/5 designation encompasses a variety of privately owned shunting locomotives that are passed to be operated on the British mainline railway system. The types of shunter issued numbers under this classification are generally designs which did not operate under British Rail or did not carry TOPS numbers.

Six of the only 14 Bagnall fireless locomotives built by W. G. Bagnall of Stafford, England, have been preserved. Brief histories of them are given in this article and they are listed by works number. All are standard gauge 0-4-0s except where otherwise stated.
