The following is a list of indoor arenas in Algeria with a capacity of at least 1,000 spectators. Most of the arenas in this list have organized multiple International and Continental individual sports, team sports events like African Games, Mediterranean Games, Arab Games. The indoor stadiums also serve as a cultural events and political events hub.

Miloud Hadefi Stadium, is a multi-use stadium in Belgaïd, in the Bir El Djir suburb of Oran, Algeria. Completed in 2019, it is used mostly for football matches. It has a capacity of 40,143 people. The value of construction work of the stadium was about 142,3 million US$, it is an olympic stadium with the athletics track and it is a part of the Miloud Hadefi Olympic Complex which is the first big complex in Algeria exceeding the Mohamed Boudiaf Olympic Complex in Algiers and it is also the first stadium entirely covered in Algeria. The stadium expected to be special for the Algeria national football team with Stade du 5 Juillet and Nelson Mandela Stadium, and also clubs of Oran especially MC Oran.

The Algeria national rugby union team represents the Algerian Rugby Federation (FAR) in men's international rugby union. The first match they competed in was on the 24th February 2007, in a game in Tunis against the Tunisia national rugby union team. While almost all current national team players play for clubs in the French championship, there are some national players who practice the sport in Australia, New Zealand, Romania and England. The first coach of the Algeria national rugby union team was Morad Kellal.

Nelson Mandela Stadium is a sports stadium located in Baraki, suburb of Algiers, Algeria. The value of construction work for the stadium cost around 300 million euros. With a seating capacity of 40,784, it will be the first association-football-specific stadium in Algeria, and be the first stadium in Algeria, to be eligible to host all the matches organized by FIFA including the World Cup and the second stadium entirely covered in Algeria after the new Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran. The Nelson Mandela stadium which extends over a total area of 68 hectares, including 5 hectares built, includes all the infrastructure essential to the organization of international football events.

The 2022 Mediterranean Games, officially known as the XIX Mediterranean Games and commonly known as Oran 2022, was an international multi-sport event held from 25 June to 6 July 2022 in Oran, Algeria. Oran was announced as the host city at the ICMG General Assembly in Pescara, Italy, on 15 August 2015. 3,298 athletes took part in the games.

Abdelkrim Kerroum Stadium, is a 20,000-seat stadium in Sig, Algeria. It is currently used for football matches and is the home ground of CC Sig.

Étoile Sportive Ben Aknoun, known as ES Ben Aknoun or simply ESBA for short, is an Algerian football club based in Hai Ouled Smail in Ben Aknoun. The club was founded in 1935 and its colours are Red black and white. Their home stadium, El Mokrani Stadium, has a capacity of 300 spectators. The club is currently playing in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1.

In the 2021–22 season, USM Alger was competing in the Ligue 1 for the 44th season. It was their 27th consecutive season in the top flight of Algerian football. They competed in Ligue 1.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Algeria at the 2022 Mediterranean Games</span> Sporting event delegation

Algeria competed at the 2022 Mediterranean Games in Oran, Algeria over 10 days from 25 June to 5 July 2022 with delegation of 522 persons, including 293 men and 182 women. The country finished the Games with 53 medals amongst all nations: 20 gold, 17 silver, and 16 bronze. This is the best participation in the history of Algeria, breaking the number of the 2001 Mediterranean Games. The sports with the most medals were Athletics, Karate and Boxing. The first medals Algeria earned were in Karate, where Algeria won six medals, including four golds by Cylia Ouikene, Louiza Abouriche and Chaima Midi for women's and Oussama Zaid for men's. In Boxing, Algeria participated with fifteen men's and women's boxers, 13 of whom won medals including five golds through Jugurtha Ait Bekka, Roumaysa Boualam, Hadjila Khelif, Imane Khelif and Yahia Abdelli. The third specialty in terms of medals is strong Athletics with a total of 13 medals, including five golds, by Bilal Tabti in 3000 m steeplechase, Yasser Triki in Triple jump, Bilel Afer in high jump, Djamel Sedjati in 800 m and finally the Men's 4×400 m relay team. In other sports participation was different and in Badminton duo Koceila Mammeri and Youcef Sabri Medel won a historic gold, and the only one in this specialty, by defeating the Spanish duo Luis Enrique Penalver Pereira and Pablo Abian Vicen. In fencing Algeria won its first gold medal in history with Saoussen Boudiaf winning against Italian Rebecca Gargano. In Judo, from which a lot was expected of Algeria, they earned four medals, one of which was gold by Messaoud Dris in 73 kg, defeating Moroccan Hassan Doukkali by Ippon. In wrestling, swimming and weightlifting, he won one gold medal in each discipline: Bachir Sid Azara in men's Greco-Roman as for Ishak Ghaiou and Abdelkrim Ouakali get the silver medal. Jaouad Syoud in 200 m individual medley and Walid Bidani in snatch +102 kg and was satisfied with silver in Clean & jerk.

The 24 February Sports Indoor Hall, is an indoor sports arena located in Arzew, Algeria. The official seating capacity of the arena is 3,000.

The 2023–24 Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 is the 62nd season of the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1 since its establishment in 1962. A total of 16 teams contest the league. It began on 15 September 2023 and will conclude on 8 June 2024.

The Miloud Hadefi Olympic Complex Omnisport Arena, is an indoor sports arena located in Bir El Djir, a suburb of Oran, Algeria. The official seating capacity of the arena is 7,000 and it's a part of the Miloud Hadefi Olympic Complex.

The 2023–24 Algerian Cup is the 57th edition of the Algerian Cup. It is sponsored by Mobilis and known as the Mobilis Algerian Cup for sponsorship purposes. The winners will qualify to the 2024–25 CAF Confederation Cup. ASO Chlef are the defending champions.

The 2023–24 season, is MC Oran's 58th season and the club's 15th consecutive season in the top flight of Algerian football. In addition to the domestic league, MC Oran are participating in the Algerian Cup.

The 2023–24 season, is NC Magra's 5th consecutive season in the top flight of Algerian football. In addition to the domestic league, NC Magra are participating in the Algerian Cup.

The 2023–24 season, is ES Ben Aknoun's first ever season in the top flight of Algerian football. In addition to the domestic league, ES Ben Aknoun are participating in the Algerian Cup.
