The ARIA Albums Chart ranks the best-performing albums and extended plays (EPs) in Australia. Its data, published by the Australian Recording Industry Association, is based collectively on the weekly physical and digital sales and streams of albums and EPs. [1] In 2023, 32 albums have so far claimed the top spot. The first number one of the year, Midnights by Taylor Swift, carried over from the end of 2022. Ten artists, SZA, Morgan Wallen, Melanie Martinez, Cub Sport, Peach PRC, Lewis Capaldi, Niall Horan, Kerser, G Flip and Polaris, achieved their first number-one album. Swift achieved three number-one albums within the year, while Ed Sheeran achieved two.

Throughout their career, they have sold over 200 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Billboard ranked them as the 2nd Greatest artist of all time. The Rolling Stones have scored 38 top-10 albums on the Billboard 200 and 8 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. According to the Recording Industry Association of America, they have sold 66.5 million albums in the US, making them the 16th best-selling group in history.

"Battle Scars", a collaboration with Lupe Fiasco, spent 20 weeks in the Billboard Hot 100 chart, peaking at number 71 and achieving platinum certification. It also reached number 2 in Norway.
Australian singer and songwriter Jessica Mauboy has released five studio albums, one live album, three soundtrack albums, one extended play, and forty singles. Mauboy was the runner-up on the fourth season of Australian Idol in 2006, and subsequently signed a contract with Sony Music Australia. She released her debut live album The Journey in February 2007, which features songs she performed as part of the top twelve on Australian Idol. The album debuted at number four on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified gold by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), denoting shipments of 35,000 copies. Mauboy briefly became a member of the Australian pop girl group Young Divas later that year, before resuming her solo career early in 2008.

She is recognised as the highest-selling Australian recording artist of all time by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA), with an estimated career sales of over 80 million units worldwide. Minogue has eight number-one albums on the ARIA Albums Chart, the most for any female Australian artist. In the United Kingdom, she holds the record for being the first female artist to score a number one on the Official Albums Chart in five consecutive decades, from the 1980s to the 2020s.
Ocean Alley is an Australian alternative psychedelic rock band from the Northern Beaches. The band is made up of Baden Donegal, Angus Goodwin, Lach Galbraith, Mitch Galbraith (guitar), Nic Blom (bass) and Tom O'Brien (drums). Their style of music has been described as "cruisey psych, rock and reggae fusion".
