AmidasCivil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom The ship was destroyed by fire in the Atlantic Ocean ( 38°30′S54°20′W / 38.500°S 54.333°W / -38.500; -54.333 ). Her twenty crew were rescued by Amelia (Civil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom ). Amidas was on a voyage from Liverpool, Lancashire to Coquimbo, Chile. [3]
BereniceCivil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom The ship was destroyed by fire off Java, Netherlands East Indies between 3 November and 10 December. She was on a voyage from China to Australia. [4]
DolphinCivil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom The ship caught fire, exploded and sank in the "Camaroons River", Africa. Her crew were rescued. [5]
ElizabethCivil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom The ship was wrecked in the Andaman Islands. She was on a voyage from Akyab, Burma to Queenstown, County Cork. [6]

MinnieCivil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom The schooner was wrecked at Cape George, Nova Scotia, British North America between 25 November and 29 December. She was on a voyage from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, British North America to New York, United States [16]
NerioCivil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom The barque was wrecked in the Bird Islands before 4 June. Eighty people were rescued by Thames (Civil Ensign of the United Kingdom.svg  United Kingdom ). [17]
OhioFlag of Bremen.svg  Bremen The barque foundered in the San Bernardino Strait before 16 November. Her crew survived. She was on a voyage from Lima, Peru to Manila, Spanish East Indies. [18]

Royal Packet Flag of the United Kingdom.svg New South Wales The ship was wrecked on the Great Barrier Reef before 12 July. Vice Admiraal de RykFlag of the Netherlands.svg  Netherlands The ship was wrecked on Christmas Island before 27 September with the loss of all but three of her crew. [24]
