Düsseldorf Stadtbahn

The Düsseldorf Stadtbahn, together with the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn and the Düsseldorf Straßenbahn (Tram), is the backbone of the public transport system of Düsseldorf, Germany, and is integrated in the Rhine-Ruhr Stadtbahn network. The Stadtbahn officially opened on 6 August 1988 and is operated by Rheinbahn AG. As of 2016, the Stadtbahn network currently consists of eleven lines, operating on 68.5 kilometres (42.6 mi), and serving 161 stations, 22 of which are underground stations.

Trolleybuses in former Soviet Union countries

The first trolleybus vehicle in Russia was built in Saint Petersburg in 1902 at Frese machine-building factory. It utilised a carriage-type current collector like the early von Siemens prototypes. There was no attempt to organize passenger or cargo services at this time.

The Istanbul nostalgic tramways are two heritage tramlines in the city of Istanbul, Turkey. The city has two completely separate heritage tram systems, one on the European side, the other on the Asian side.

The Basel tramway network is a network of tramways forming part of the public transport system in Basel, Switzerland, and the Swiss part of its agglomeration. It consists of 13 lines. Due to its longevity, it is part of Basel's heritage and, alongside the Basel Minster, is one of the symbols of the city.

The Nancy Guided Light Transit or TVR is a guided bus system in Nancy, France. The system uses Bombardier's TVR technology. The TVR replaced the trolleybus system in Nancy.

Trolleybuses in Lausanne

The Lausanne trolleybus system forms part of the public transport network of Lausanne, in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. The system has been in operation since 1932 and is the third-oldest surviving trolleybus system in the world, after those of Shanghai and Philadelphia.

The Eberswalde trolleybus system serves the city of Eberswalde, in the Land of Brandenburg, Germany.

Trolleybuses in Fribourg

The Fribourg trolleybus system forms part of the public transport network in Fribourg, capital of the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland. The system also serves the neighbouring municipalities of Villars-sur-Glâne and Givisiez, using one line in each case.
