Live at Brixton Academy (released as Dido Live on Region 1 [1] ) is a live album and DVD set by Dido, released on 2005. It was recorded over three nights in August 2004, at Brixton Academy in London during the Life for Rent tour. [2] The DVD release includes a bonus audio CD which contains twelve of the recorded tracks, in a slightly modified order.

Dido Florian Cloud de Bounevialle O'Malley Armstrong, known professionally as Dido, is an English singer and songwriter. Dido attained international success with her debut album No Angel (1999). Hit singles from the album include "Here with Me" and "Thank You". It sold over 21 million copies worldwide, and won her several awards, including two Brit Awards: Best British Female and Best British Album, and the MTV Europe Music Award for Best New Act. The first verse of "Thank You" is sampled in "Stan", a collaboration with Eminem. Her next album, Life for Rent (2003), continued her success with the hit singles "White Flag" and "Life for Rent". In 2004 Dido performed with other British and Irish artists in the Band Aid 20 version of the charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?".
Faithless are a British electronica band consisting of Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo. The group is best known for the songs "Salva Mea", "Insomnia", "God Is a DJ" and "We Come 1". Faithless recorded six studio albums, with total sales exceeding 15 million records worldwide. The band announced they would split up after their Passing the Baton dates at Brixton Academy on 7 and 8 April 2011. However, in February 2015, they reunited to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the band.

Stripped is an album by The Rolling Stones released in November 1995 after the Voodoo Lounge Tour. It contains six live tracks and eight studio recordings. The live tracks were taken from four 1995 performances, at three small venues, and include a cover of Bob Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone", which was the first single from the album. The remaining eight tracks were acoustic studio re-recordings of songs from the Stones' previous catalogue, the exception being a cover of Willie Dixon's "Little Baby". The studio performances were recorded "live," i.e., without overdubs.

Life for Rent is the second studio album by English singer and songwriter Dido, released by Arista Records on 29 September 2003. The album was produced by Rollo Armstrong and American songwriter Rick Nowels. Work on the album began in mid-2002. It was certified 7× Platinum by the BPI; and sold over 12 million copies worldwide, making it the fourth best-selling album worldwide of 2003. The album became the seventh best-selling album of the 2000s in the UK, making Dido the only singer to have two albums in the Top 10 list.
"Thank You" is a song written and performed by English singer-songwriter Dido. The song made its first appearance in 1998, on the soundtrack of the movie Sliding Doors. It was later included on Dido's 1999 debut album No Angel, becoming the album's biggest hit.
The Dido flip was a female hairstyle of the early 21st century in imitation of the singer and songwriter Dido Armstrong. It was a "chopped" style with hair flipped to one or both sides and often strands not cut evenly. Dido noted in a number of interviews that she was surprised and uninterested by the attention she received over her hairstyle.
Global Underground 021: Deep Dish, Moscow is a DJ mix album in the Global Underground series, compiled and mixed by Deep Dish in 2001. It is a retrospective of a set they played at Club XIII. The Compilation reached #8 Top Heatseekers, #13 Top Electronic Albums, #31 Independent Albums. 021 is also the area code of Tehran, where Sharam of Deep Dish was born. The back of the CD case states, "This CD is dedicated to all innocent people whose lives have been destroyed by extremists."

The Poison: Live at Brixton is a DVD released on 30 October 2006 in the United Kingdom and was released on 19 December 2006 in the United States. The DVD is of Bullet for My Valentine performing live at the Brixton Academy on 28 January 2006, shortly before frontman Matt Tuck began to experience throat and vocals problems. It was released in Japan as a CD/DVD Box. The CD included the complete concert at Brixton as an audio. In 2017, they released Live From Brixton Chapter Two, a two-night performance celebrating the 10th anniversary of their first album The Poison.

The single was released on 1 December 2003, and was a relative success in the UK, peaking at #8 on the UK Singles Chart. The single also found success in Europe and America. The song was used in American television series Smallville and Nikita. The music video, directed by Sophie Muller, shows Dido in several rooms in a house.
