Logan High School is a public high school in Logan, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Logan-Hocking School District.

Athletics

The Logan Chieftains have been a member of the Southeastern Ohio Athletic League since 1925. The league will dissolve after the 2016–2017 school year. Logan's sports teams will be independent of a league starting in June 2017.[ citation needed ]

Waite, a Chief Justice of the Supreme Court who is famous for overseeing the Alabama Claims case. Waite replaced the original Central High School when Toledo Public Schools decided it couldn't afford to have 3 high schools for the 1914-15 school year.

Colerain High School is a public high school located near Cincinnati, Ohio. It is part of the Northwest Local School District. The high school is located in Colerain Township, about 14 miles northwest of downtown Cincinnati. The original school opened in 1924 under the name Colerain Centralized School at 4700 and 4850 Poole Road and is now Colerain Elementary School and Colerain Middle School. Today's Colerain High School opened in 1964 at its newer address, 8801 Cheviot Road. It is the largest public school in the Colerain area in terms of enrollment and building size, with over 2,200 students currently attending CHS in two buildings on campus, the main school building and the Career Center building. Colerain is among the largest schools in the Cincinnati area and in the state of Ohio.

River Valley High School is a public high school near Bidwell, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is one of two high schools in the Gallia County Local School District, the other school being South Gallia High School. Their nickname is the Raiders. The school has been rated "Excellent" two years in a row on the state report card making it one of the highest ranked schools within several counties. In August 2009 the current RVHS facility was officially opened, taking the place of the previous RVHS located in nearby Cheshire. The new location places River Valley High School just a short distance from its main feeder school, River Valley Middle School. The 2009–10 school year was the first to take place in the new building, with the Class of 2010 being the first class to graduate, and the Class of 2013 being the first to complete all four years of their secondary education at the new building.

Tyson Veidt is an American football coach and former player. He is the associate head and linebackers coach at Iowa State University. Veidt served as the head football coach at Bluffton from 208 to 2013, compiling a record of 36-70. He was previously an assistant coach at Toledo for two seasons under Matt Campbell.
