Lucy Mecklenburgh (born 24 August 1991) is an English television personality and model known for her appearances in the ITV2 reality series The Only Way Is Essex from 2010 to 2013. She later appeared in Tumble and Tour de Celeb . [1] [2] [3]

Career

The Only Way Is Essex

Mecklenburgh rose to fame as one of the cast members in the ITV2 reality series The Only Way is Essex . [4] She remained on the series for three years, leaving after the tenth series. [5]

Other work

In 2014 Mecklenburgh appeared on Ladies of London (season 1, episode 7) modelling Caprice's line, By Caprice.

In 2015 Mecklenburgh released a clothing range with PrettyLittleThing and modelled in their advertising campaign. [6] [7] She also put her name to a collection for Ellesse sportswear. [8] She opened her own shop, called Lucy's Boutique, [9] and began a fitness business named Results With Lucy. [10] [11] [12] In 2013, she was announced as a regular columnist for New! magazine. [13] She is signed to Select modelling agency. [14]

In 2014, Mecklenburgh also took part in the BBC One talent show Tumble with professional partner, Billy George. [15] [16] In 2015, her debut book, Be Body Beautiful, was published by Penguin. [17] In 2016, she did a modelling campaign for Barry M. [18]

Personal life

Between 2010 and 2012, Mecklenburgh dated and was engaged to Mario Falcone, but this relationship ended in 2012. [19] In 2017, she started dating actor Ryan Thomas, after they met participating in Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls together. They have been engaged since June 2019.

She gave birth to her first child, a boy on 7 March 2020 with fiancé Ryan. She gave birth to her second child, a girl, on 29 May 2022. Ryan has a daughter Scarlett from a previous relationship with his former Coronation Street co-star Tina O'Brien. [20]

<i>The Only Way Is Essex</i> British reality series

The Only Way Is Essex is a British reality television series based in Brentwood, Essex, England. It shows "real people in modified situations, saying unscripted lines but in a structured way." Broadcast on ITV2 from 2010, the series was moved to ITVBe in October 2014. The first series consisted of 10 episodes and ran for 30 minutes, with a Christmas special following later in the year. Due to popularity, the runtime was extended to 45-minute episodes and renewed for a year's airing. On 22 May 2011, the series won the Audience Award at the 2011 BAFTA Awards.

Kirk John Norcross is an English television personality, best known for being a cast member on the ITV2 reality series The Only Way Is Essex from 2010 to 2013. He also participated in the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2012, and the third series of Ex on the Beach in 2015.

The second series of The Only Way Is Essex, a British semi-reality television programme, began airing on 20 March 2011 on ITV2. The series concluded on 4 May 2011 and consisted of fourteen episodes. This is the first series to include Carol Wright, Chloe Sims, Debbie Douglas, Frankie Essex, Gemma Collins, Joey Essex, Mick Norcross and Nicola Goodger, and briefly included Leah Wright, the cousin of Mark and Jess Wright, before she later returned in the ninth series. It is the last series to include Amy Childs before her return in 2020. The series heavily focused on the relationship between Lauren G and Mark, where the pair celebrate an engagement, failed to win over the support from the Wright family, before splitting when Mark puts his club promoting before his fiancée. It also featured the demise of Arg and Lydia's relationship, the blossoming romance between Joey and Sam, and Kirk and Lauren P taking things to the next step despite the disapproval from her best friend Maria.

In 2016, he joined the cast of The Only Way Is Essex with his brother Chris Clark.

Olivia Jade Attwood Dack is an English television personality, presenter and model. In 2017, she appeared on the third series of Love Island and later became a regular cast member on the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex. In November 2022, she participated in the twenty-second series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! but withdrew on medical grounds two days after arriving. In 2023, Attwood joined Loose Women as a panellist.

Chloe Brockett is an English television personality. After moving to Chafford Hundred, Essex, at a young age, she began acting with various appearances in television advertisements. Whilst working as a hairdresser, she was cast in the ITVBe reality series The Only Way Is Essex in 2019. As well as appearing on the series, she has also made appearances on Dinner Date and Celebs Go Dating, as well as owning two businesses.
