Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is a public university in Edwardsville, Illinois. SIUE was established in 1957 as an extension of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Maryville University of St. Louis is a private university in Town and Country, Missouri. It was originally founded on April 6, 1872, by the Society of the Sacred Heart and offers more than 90 degrees at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels to students from 50 states and 47 countries. The school's name is derived from the shortening and altering of "Mary's Villa" when the school opened as an all women-school in the country outside of the order's original downtown St. Louis location in 1872. In 1961 it moved to suburban St. Louis and in 1968 began admitting men. Since 1972 the university has been governed by a board of trustees consisting mostly of members of the laity, although five of the trustees are always associated with the Society of the Sacred Heart. The school's athletic nickname is now the Saints.
Westminster Christian Academy (WCA) is a private Christian school in Town and Country, Missouri serving students in grades 7–12. As of 2022, the school has an enrollment of approximately 940 students. The Upper School (9-12) enrolls approximately 685 students and the Middle School (7-8) enrolls approximately 255 students.

The University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL) is a public research university in St. Louis, Missouri. Established in 1963, it is the newest of the four universities in the University of Missouri System. Located on the former grounds of Bellerive Country Club, the university's campus stretches into the municipalities of Bellerive, Bel-Nor and Normandy. Additional facilities are located at the former site of Marillac College and at Grand Center, both in St. Louis city.
Mineral Area College is a public community college in Park Hills, Missouri. Students can complete a wide variety of certificate and 2-year degree programs. Students may transfer to four-year institutions to complete bachelor's degree programs or they may participate in the 2+2 programs offered on campus by Central Methodist University or University of Missouri-St. Louis. The school enrolled 2,640 students in 2019.
Jersey College is a private for-profit career college specializing in nursing education with its main campus in Teterboro, New Jersey. The college was established in 2003 and started its first class in 2004. Jersey College has thirteen other locations in Arizona, Florida, Indiana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
