Upendra Yadav is a Nepalese politician who has served as the chairman of the People's Socialist Party,Nepal since 2020. The party was registered with the Election Commission of Nepal in March 2005. The party merged into Rastriya Prajatantra Party on July 25,2007.
Sadbhavana Party is a political party in Nepal. The party emerged from a major split in the Nepal Sadbhavana Party (Anandidevi) in the summer of 2007. Laxman Lal Karna was the joint chair of the party.

The Federal Socialist Forum,Nepal was a democratic socialist political party in Nepal. The party was formed on 15 June 2015 from the merger of the Madhesi Jana Adhikar Forum,Nepal,the Federal Socialist Party Nepal and the Khas Samabeshi Party. On 6 May 2019,the party merged with Naya Shakti Party,Nepal to form Samajbadi Party,Nepal.
General elections were held in Nepal in two phases on 26 November and 7 December 2017 to elect the 275 members of the fifth House of Representatives,the lower house of the Federal Parliament of Nepal. The election was held alongside the first provincial elections for the seven provincial assemblies. A political deadlock between the governing Nepali Congress and the winning left-wing coalition over the system used to elect the upper house led to delay in forming the new government. Following the announcement of final result by the Election Commission,K.P. Oli of Communist Party of Nepal was sworn in as Prime Minister on 15 February 2018 by the President according to Article 76 (2) of the constitution. He passed a Motion of Confidence on 11 March 2018 with 208 votes.

He won second time in a row Member of the Legislative Assembly of Rautahat District Constituency 4(B) Pradesh Sabha. He is also former VDC chairman(Nepali:अध्यक्ष) of Gamhariya,Nepal.
The People's Socialist Party,Nepal,also known as Janata Samajbadi Party is the sixth-largest political party in Nepal. Since the 2022 local election,the party has been limited to stand only as the third largest party of Madhesh Province after the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) respectively. Recently the party faced multiple splits under Mahantha Thakur,Baburam Bhattarai,Mahendra Ray Yadav and Resham Lal Chaudhary.

The 2021 split in the People's Socialist Party,Nepal (PSP-N) was a factional dispute amongst the leadership over party control beginning in May and culminating in July,with the faction led by former Deputy Prime Minister Upendra Yadav succeeding over the faction of former First Chairman Mahantha Thakur. The dispute was settled as a result of a decision of the Election Commission,which handed control to Yadav's faction,forcing the departure of the Thakur faction from the PSP-N and requiring the formation of a new party.
The Madhesi Jana Adhikar Forum,Nepal (Loktantrik),was a political party in Nepal. It existed as one of the important political force during the constituent assembly. Later the party merged with several other parties to become the largest Madhesh/Tharuhath based party,Nepal Loktantrik Forum.
The Second Federal Parliament of Nepal,was elected by the 2022 general elections on 20 November 2022. The elections elected 275 Members of Parliament (MPs),165 for each constituency and 110 through the party list,to the House of Representatives. The parliament convened for the first time on 9 January 2023.
