The Mailiao Refinery is an oil refinery complex in Mailiao Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan.

History

The refinery began its first phase of production in 2000 with a capacity of 150,000 barrels per day. In 2002, it reached its full capacity at 450,000 barrels per day. [2]

Architecture

The refinery consists of 28 storage tanks for crude oil with an individual capacity of 130,000 m3. [2]

Rhoscrowther Human settlement in Wales

Rhoscrowther was a village, ecclesiastical parish and civil parish in Pembrokeshire, Wales on the south shore of the Milford Haven Waterway. The placename is Welsh and perhaps means "crwth-player's moor". It is part of the community of Hundleton.

Fawley Refinery

Fawley Refinery is an oil refinery located at Fawley, Hampshire, England. The refinery is owned by Esso Petroleum Company Limited, a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, which acquired the site in 1925. Situated on Southampton Water, it was rebuilt and extended in 1951 and is now the largest oil refinery in the United Kingdom, and one of the most complex refineries in Europe. With a capacity of 270,000 barrels (43,000 m3) per day, Fawley provides 20 percent of the UK's refinery capacity. An estimated 1000 people are employed at the site.

Pembroke Refinery

The Pembroke Refinery is an oil refinery situated on the Pembrokeshire coast in Wales at Rhoscrowther in the community of Hundleton. It first came on stream in 1964 and was Regent/Texaco's only British refinery. The refinery occupies a prominent position on the south bank of the Milford Haven Waterway and can be seen for many miles. Around a quarter of the site is within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park which was created in 1952.

Montreal East Refinery (Shell Canada)

The Montreal East Refinery was an oil refinery located in Montreal East and formerly Shell Canada's largest refinery. In October 2010, refinery operations permanently ceased and the facility was subsequently converted into a storage terminal.

Paraguaná Refinery Complex

The Paraguaná Refinery Complex is a crude oil refinery complex in Venezuela. It is considered the world's third largest refinery complex, just after Jamnagar Refinery (India) and Ulsan Refinery. The Paraguaná Refinery Complex was created by the fusion of Amuay Refinery, Bajo Grande Refinery and Cardón Refinery. The Paraguana Refinery Complex is still the largest refinery in the Western Hemisphere. As of 2012, it refined 955 thousand barrels per day (151,800 m3/d). The complex is located in the Paraguaná Peninsula in Falcón state and the western coast of Lake Maracaibo in the Zulia state. The complex accounts for 71% of the refining capacity of Venezuela and it belongs to the state-owned company Petróleos de Venezuela (PDVSA).

The Co-op Refinery Complex is an oil refinery spread over 544 acres (2.20 km2) located in the city of Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, owned and operated by Consumers Co-operative Refinery Limited, an affiliate of Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL). The refinery provides oil products to the member co-operatives of Federated Co-operatives Limited as well as most other petroleum retailers in the region including major national and regional brands. The complex completed a CA$2.9 billion upgrade project in 2012 to increase operations up to 145,000 barrels per day (23,100 m3/d)

Mailiao Power Plant Power plant in Mailiao, Yunlin, Taiwan

The Mailiao Power Plant is a coal-fired power plant in Formosa Mai-Liao Industrial Park, Mailiao Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan. With a total installed capacity of 4,200 MW, the plant is Taiwan's third largest coal-fired power plant after Taichung Power Plant and Hsinta Power Plant.

The Mai-Liao Power Corporation is an independent power producer company in Taiwan. The total electricity installed capacity of the company is 1,800 MW and is produced using thermal power. The company is the subsidiary of Formosa Plastics Group.

Marathon Anacortes Refinery Petroleum refinery in Washington, United States

The Marathon Anacortes Refinery, prior to October 2018 known as the Andeavor Anacortes Refinery and prior to August 2017 known as the Tesoro Anacortes Refinery, is a petroleum refinery located about 70 miles north of Seattle on March Point, just outside Anacortes, Washington. The refinery has operated in Anacortes since 1955, and has 425 full-time employees. It has a 120,000 barrels per day (bpd) capacity and is operated by Marathon Petroleum.

Dangote Refinery

The Dangote Refinery is an oil refinery owned by the Dangote Group that is under construction in Lekki, Nigeria. When complete, it will have the capacity to process about 650,000 barrels per day of crude oil, making it the largest single-train refinery in the world. He has invested over 7 billion US dollars.

Sapugaskanda Refinery

The Sapugaskanda Refinery is the single largest oil refinery of Sri Lanka. The refinery was built by Iran under the guidance of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation in August 1969, initially designed to process 38,000 barrels (6,000 m3) per stream day of Iranian Upper Zakum crude oil, and Arabian light crude oil. It was commissioned on 12 October 1969. The facility, which covers an area of 165 acres (67 ha), currently has a capacity of 50,000 barrels (7,900 m3) per stream day.

Bataan Refinery

The Bataan Refinery is an oil refinery in Limay, Bataan, Philippines. It is owned and operated by Petron Corporation and is the largest oil refinery in the Philippines with the capacity to process 180,000 barrels per day (29,000 m3/d). It began operation in 1961.
